New Season

Isaiah 43:19 “Watch for the new thing I am going to do. It is happening already—you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there!” (GNT)

This is the Decade of Destiny and of Light. And because the Word of God is cumulative, this is still our year of Lifting. However, in this season particularly God’s Word for us is Lifting. It is your season for lifting and so shall it be in Jesus Mighty Name. With all that is going on around us, sometimes we can be discouraged. For a lot of people, this outgoing year has been very challenging, very turbulent. The year is coming to an end, and everyone is excited and rejoicing. But when you look at yourself, when you look at your life, you have so many questions. And it is almost like, so what next?

I am here to say to you today that if you are not dead, He, God, is not done. If you still have breath in you, God is not done with you. God is not finished. In fact, the fact that you are alive, necessity is placed on you to fulfil the reason God has kept you alive. A lot of people who started the year with you are no longer here. Yet you are here, alive and standing. A wise man said to me in 2020 when I was going through a turbulent time, “You only know what has happened, you do not know what could have happened.” I was like, “Wow! You mean something else could have happened?” Pause and think about it; it could have been worse.

Whatever the challenges you are facing even right now, the truth is it could have been worse. Another wise man said to me in that situation, “You should be grateful that the arrow of death intended to take off your head and to kill you, only removed your cap!” However, most times we are fixated on the cap that has been removed. But your head is still intact, so be grateful. They came for your head, but they could only get your cap. The God that left the head will put another cap on it in the Mighty Name of Jesus. And you must understand this.

In this season, by the grace of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I will be speaking as a father over the churches and God’s people. At the beginning of 2020, God said to me, ‘You are going to say to the people, “The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you…”. And we started saying it from the beginning of the year and you know how that year went. And surely, it was significant. So, in this season, by the grace of God, I am speaking to you as your spiritual father and I am saying, God has left you for a purpose. There is a grand design for you being here and you have to cooperate with that purpose of God.

Prayer: Father, I believe, I receive, and I declare that according to Your Word this is my season of lifting, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen!

Be Deliberate

Galatians 3:26 “…we are all children of God through faith in Jesus Christ” (LB, emphasis added).

What have you been doubting that God can handle? Pause and think about it. What have you been doubting that God can handle in your life, marriage, career, family, children, business, finances, relationships, etc? Read the rest of this entry

Close & Competent

Galatians 4:6 “And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father!” (AMPC)

What kind of Father is God? God Is A Close Father. Psalm 34:18The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (NIV, emphasis added). Are you broken-hearted? God is near you. Do you feel like your spirit has been crushed? God is a sympathetic Father. Read the rest of this entry

Father

Ephesians 6:4 “Fathers, don’t exasperate your children, but raise them up with loving discipline and counsel that brings the revelation of our Lord.” (TPT).

What kind of Father is God? He is not only a caring and consistent Father. God Is A Close Father. Acts 17:27God did this so people would…reach out for Him and find Him, since He is not far from each of us.” (NIV, emphasis added). God is close. Read the rest of this entry

Changeless

James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from… the Fatherwho does not change like shifting shadows.” (NIV, emphasis added).

What kind of Father is God? God is a caring and consistent Father. The truth is that inconsistent fathers produce insecure children. When you see insecure children, check, they often have inconsistent fathers. Remember the statistics we shared some days ago? Read the rest of this entry

Caring & Consistent

Matthew 6:31-32 “…do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or… ‘What shall we wear?’ …For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” (NKJV, emphasis added)

What kind of Father is God? God is a caring Father. He cares about what you wear. The Bible says, “…For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” God cares. Someone walked up to his Pastor and said, ‘Pastor, I have a big problem in my spiritual life. The problem is that I do not love God enough.’ And his Pastor’s response was, ‘That is actually not your problem. Your problem is that you do not know how much God loves you.’ Read the rest of this entry

Abba

Psalms 25:8 “How good you are to me! When people turn to you, Yahweh, they discover how easy you are to please—so faithful and true! Joyfully you teach them the proper path, even when they go astray.” (TPT, emphasis added)

Yesterday we looked at four misconceptions about God. Some people think that God is unreasonable, unreliable, unconcerned, or He is just unpleasable. Like we shared yesterday, one key secret of life is that the only Person you can actually really please is God. You cannot please your dad. Many of us are worried because we want to always look up to dad and please dad. It is good because it is innate, and it points us to God. Read the rest of this entry

Our Father

Isaiah 46:4 “I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”

Your understanding of God as your Father will determine the cause of your life. Your relationship with your earthly father directly affects your relationship with God as your Father, even though it should not. And when the understanding of God as Father is skewed, people struggle. A scientific study was done on fifty of the most famous atheists in the world. The study revealed that the fifty most famous atheists all had only one thing in common. Read the rest of this entry
