Life is a mixture of highs and lows. Life is a mixture of ups and downs. And if we do not understand that about life, when we experience valleys or challenges, we will think something is wrong with us. Jeremiah 50:4-5 “Then my people will join together in tears to seek the Lord.  And they will ask the way to Jerusalem and they will start back home again…” (emphasis added).

Expressions

1 Kings 9:3 “And God said to him, “I’ve listened to and received all your prayers, your ever-so-passionate prayers.” (MSG).

We need to express our desires to God with emotions just like Daniel did. Daniel 9:3And I prayed earnestly to the Lord God, pleading with him…”. Daniel was pleading with God endlessly in prayer with passion. This is the same God that made this promise of deliverance. Read the rest of this entry

No Matter What!

Psalm 50:23 “But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

If you are going to pray in a crisis, you have to learn to honour God, no matter how you feel. Choose to honour God, no matter what. I want you to make that decision today that you will honour God, no matter what. There is a man in scriptures called Job. Job was a rich man; in fact, he was the richest man. Honour God

Daniel 9:4&9 “…I said, “Lord God, you are great, and we honour you. You are faithful to your covenant and show constant love to those who love you and do what you command… You are merciful and forgiving…” (GNT, emphasis added).

You may be in God’s presence today thinking, ‘Is God really good? I know God is good sometimes but is God really good all the time?’ Take a moment, think about it. Is God really good all the time? The fact that you can think about it is evidence of God’s goodness. Read the rest of this entry

Psalm 77:7-9 “Has the Lord rejected me forever? Will he never again be kind to me? Is his unfailing love gone forever? Have his promises permanently failed? Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he slammed the door on his compassion?” 

The dictionary defines crisis as a time of intense difficulty or danger, a time when a difficult or important decision must be made. People experience crisis at different seasons in life. Your Response, VII

John 15:16 “You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.”
