Lead-Her

“Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done” Prov.31:30-31

I learnt a huge lesson some time ago and the lesson is that in a marriage the wife is a very powerful force spiritually. I have experienced situations where when my wife comes on board with me a hundred percent things just change, things we used to struggle with become effortless so to speak. We once had a lady on the workforce in Read the rest of this entry

Sold Out?

“So Elisha returned to his oxen and slaughtered them. He used the wood from the plow to build a fire to roast their flesh. He passed around the meat to the townspeople, and they all ate. Then he went with Elijah as his assistant” 1 Kings 19:21

The reason there are so many unhappy people is because a lot of people have made chasing happiness their preoccupation. Happiness is not an end but when you are fulfilling your purpose you will be happy. When you are fulfilling your purpose you will have pain but when you are fulfilling your purpose you will also have pleasure. Read the rest of this entry

Goal Setting III

“If you plan and work hard, you will have plenty; if you hurry to get rich, you will end up poor” Prov.21:5 [CEV].

#7. R is for REVELATION. What Scripture supports your goal? As believers all our goals should be scriptural [based on the Bible]. There should be a revelation that backs up the goals you set. A Christian man decides one day that his goal for that year is to marry a second wife. He Read the rest of this entry

Goal Setting II

“Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty” Prov.21:5

#4. R is REALISTIC. Is it a realistic goal? For some people in their late twenties running into their thirties, their goal is to control how they grow horizontally. That is a valid goal but an unrealistic goal is someone of the same age bracket looking to control how he or she grows vertically. Read the rest of this entry

Goal Setting I

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty” Prov.21:5 [ESV]

Sit down with God, come up with goals, and write the goals down. Writing down a specific goal will increase your odds of achieving it by about ten times. In other words, a written goal is ten times more possible to come to pass than goals that are not written down. “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty” Prov.21:5 [ESV]. What’s Your Excuse?

“The lazy person claims, “There’s a lion on the road! Yes, I’m sure there’s a lion out there!” Prov.26:13

The story is told of a husband and wife on a Sunday morning. The lady gets ready for church, gets the children ready, but she looked at her husband still snoozing and it was time to go to church. So the woman says to her husband, “Honey, are you not going to church?” And he responded, “I have three cogent reasons not to go to church. Number one, the weather is good. Number two, not many people Read the rest of this entry

Foundation Stone IV

“We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work” John 9:4

#4: STOP PROCRASTINATING. Stop procrastinating! What has God told you to do or what is God telling you to do? Just do it and stop procrastinating. God has told you to do something – just do it! I have come across people who have said they will do what God is telling them to do later and they boast that they will do it better then. Have you encountered such people? My sincere advice to all of Read the rest of this entry

Foundation Stone III

Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:  Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel…Gen.49:3-4 [emphasis added].

All of us must desire understanding when it comes to spiritual things. Spiritual things are not like a switch but rather spiritual things are more like an electric oven; it takes time to heat up when you plug it. That is why when you keep praying, after a while you notice you begin to get the results. It takes time. However, it is the same thing when you unplug the electric oven, it also takes time to cool Read the rest of this entry

Impregnable!

“And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it…” Lev.6:12 [emphasis added].

Functioning in your priesthood makes your life impregnable to the enemy. Every time they try, they will fail, in Jesus Name. Some time ago, I was not a Pastor yet but I was a believer at the time and in relationship with God. I was running rampant for Jesus. My business was anywhere I see trouble, that’s where I want to be in. Anywhere somebody had a demon-possessed issue, my response was, Read the rest of this entry

Grounded

“Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness” Col.2:7

Where your treasure is there your heart will be also. It is as simple as that and this is why God wants your money. I hope all this is beginning to make sense to you now. Say it aloud to yourself; God wants my money because He wants my life.

God gives some men of God graces in different areas. I understand that but some people are just Read the rest of this entry
