Block I

Luke 8:5 [NIV] “A farmer went out to sow his seed.  As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up.” [with emphasis]

Jesus explains Luke 8:5 in Luke 8:12 Those along the footpath are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes along and takes away the word from their hearts, so they cannot believe and be saved.” In order to hear the voice of God, the first thing we must do is to cultivate an open mind. Just like a closed fist, a closed mind cannot receive Read the rest of this entry

Tune-In!

Luke 8:8 “…Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”

In today’s Scripture reference, Jesus is saying something that is very powerful. Jesus says “Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.” Whoever has a radio to receive, let him tune-in. It is a sad thing to have ears to hear and not hear – to be equipped with everything to hear God consistently and, still not hear or tune-in to God’s frequency. Read the rest of this entry

Fresh Fire

Lu.3: 2 while Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness [with emphasis]

Yesterday, I began by telling you how the Holy Spirit used Luke 3:1-2 to ignite a hunger in me for the voice and the Word of the Lord. And today, I am going to show you details of this Scripture that can easily be missed but are essential to life change. Lu.3:1Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene, 2 while Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness [with emphasis]. Hungry?

Psalm 32:8 “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.  I will advise you and watch over you” [with emphasis].

One question that is constantly on the mind of many believers is how to hear God consistently. Firstly, I implore you to settle this truth in your heart; you have all it takes to hear from God – You are fully equipped. Imagine you just got an expensive antique radio. You bring it out of the box and connect it to the power source. When the radio Read the rest of this entry

Through Him

Heb.1:1-2 “Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son…”

In times past, in the Old Testament, God spoke to our fathers and to the people He wanted to reach through the prophets. Meaning, whoever wanted to hear from God had to have a relationship with a prophet. But today, God is saying if you want to hear from Him, you must have a relationship with His Son [Jesus Christ]. So primarily, to hear Read the rest of this entry

The Purpose

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others” 2Cor.9:8.

God is a God of abundance but God is not a God of wastage. God gives abundantly but God is not prodigal with resources. You need to understand that. In fact, for a lot of people that is the missing link.  If you check our lives, it is full of waste. We waste everything. The way we waste power in this country is almost unbelievable. Imagine a house with five rooms and the cooling units in the five rooms are left on, meanwhile everybody is in the living room – waste. Read the rest of this entry

Must Have II

“One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the Lord, and the accuser, satan, came with them. Then the Lord asked satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? Satan replied to the Lord, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God” Job 1:6, 8-9

What do you think would have happened if Job had been able to listen in to that conversation? Would that have changed Job’s attitude a little bit? What do you think would have happened? I hope you can handle what I am going to share with you next? When we are still worshipping at a rented facility, I heard a conversation that was going to shut the door to getting our own land. Must Have I

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” Jn.10:27.

The Supernatural: Simply put, the supernatural means the natural that is super and in plain language, the unseen world. There is a world that cannot be seen and the world that cannot be seen is so active it is unbelievable. In the unseen world there are two things that I want you to know and that you have Read the rest of this entry
