Acts 4:12 “Jesus is the only one who can save people. His name is the only power in the world that has been given to save anyone. We must be saved through him!” (ERV)
Jesus has not only come to L – Let Us In On Who God Is, I – Inform Us Of God’s Plan, G – Guide Our Steps. He has come to H, Heal Our Hurts. The truth is everybody has a hidden wound. It may be something that happened to you or something that did not happen to you. Read the rest of this entry
Inform & Guide
John 18:37 “I came into the world to tell people the truth.” (NCV)
Jesus came to unveil God’s plans, the truth of your destiny. Ephesians 1:9-11 “God’s secret plan has now been revealed to us; it is a plan centered on Christ, designed long ago… And this is His plan: At the right time God will bring everything together under the authority of Christ— Read the rest of this entry
Revelation Light
John 14:6-7 “Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father too. But now you know the Father. You have seen him.” (ERV)
John 14:9 “…Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father….” (NIV). What a huge statement! Who on earth can say, ‘if you see Me, you have seen The Father?’ It is either an arrogant statement or it is the truth. It is either He is crazy, or He is God. Read the rest of this entry
Light Up!
John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (NIV)
Christ Jesus came to the earth to light up the world and the question is how. To help us, we have put it in a way that we can easily remember and relate with. We have come up with the acronym “L.I.G.H.T”. L stands for Let Us In On Who God Is. Read the rest of this entry
In Faith
Hebrews 11:1-2 “Faith is the assurance of things you have hoped for, the absolute conviction that there are realities you’ve never seen. It was by faith that our forebears were approved.” (Voice)
Hebrews 11:1 “What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.” (LB). Now that we know what faith is and how to grow in faith. Read the rest of this entry
Faith Matters
1 Corinthians 16:13 “Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.”
Whenever the enemy comes at you, life throws challenges at you, and when you are under pressure, it is not about your cars, houses, finances, health, or your children. It is all about your faith. Jesus said to Peter, the enemy wants to sift you all, but I pray that your faith will not fail (Luke 22:31). Read the rest of this entry
Open The Door
Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (NIV, emphasis added).
The first prison Jesus is The Door for us to exit from is the Prison of Pretending. The second is the Prison of Unforgiveness. And the third prison God wants us to exit is the Prison Of Fear. Fear always locks people out of your life. I have heard people say, ‘I will never let another man hurt me like this again’, Read the rest of this entry
Dangerous Paths
Proverbs 29:25 “Fear of man is a dangerous trap, but to trust in God means safety.” (LB, emphasis added)
We began to look at the first of three prisons that Jesus wants us to exit from and the first is the Prison of Pretending. When you wear a mask, you are hiding, and you will get increasingly uncomfortable. Wearing a mask can be exhausting as many of us can attest to from first-hand experience during Read the rest of this entry
To Freedom
Galatians 5:13 “It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows.” (MSG)
Most times, we have an idea of who we think God is and how we expect God to respond. So, God has to rattle and shake the foundation of such beliefs. However, the beauty is that He does not leave us there. After He has shaken our foundation, Read the rest of this entry
Door Dynamics
John 10:9 “I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security).” (AMP)
Some time ago, we looked at the concept of doors and their significance. When you go through a door, it can be an entrance or an exit. When you go through a door, you are entering somewhere and exiting somewhere else. So, the door is actually a metaphor for so many things- for opportunities, success, etc. Read the rest of this entry
