In The Name

“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” Gen12:2 [KJV, emphasis added]

Diverse people introduce themselves differently and very often by the various titles they have acquired. The desire to establish greatness and stamp our authority drives us to seek titles. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” John 10:10

A marriage, as good as marriage is, cannot give you life. Popularity cannot give you life. A boat cannot give you life. A car, even the most expensive of cars, cannot give you life. Somebody walking down the road with his ‘leg-gedis-benz’ sees another person drive off in his Mercedes Benz and says, that is ‘the life’. The truth is, as nice as the Mercedes Benz might be, it cannot give Read the rest of this entry
