His Command

“‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward.’ Luke 19:17

What instruction has God given you that is outstanding? Who do you need to forgive but you have not moved in that direction? What has God told you to give but you are still holding unto? Perhaps God is telling you to give your car to a lady in church. Give her the car. For some of us it is repentance. What do you need to Read the rest of this entry

As You Align

“‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward.’ Luke 19:17

A research by Stanford University revealed that, “The ability to function effectively in a crisis is the most important single quality of a great leader”. They discovered that the ability to deal with crisis could not be taught in classrooms but only in crisis situations. They said there is no case study that can be used to teach crisis management. And if there is one thing that is constant in leadership, it is Read the rest of this entry

Unite, Obey and Align

“But the Lord came down to look at the city and the tower the people were building. “Look!” he said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them! Gen. 11:5-6

God always puts one person in charge and in marriage it is the same thing. I know that God has given us intelligent wives. God bless our wives. But ladies, never marry a man that you do not respect. Do not marry a man that when push comes to shove, even if you do not understand what he is saying, you do not respect him enough to obey and align. Do not marry him or you are headed for Read the rest of this entry

Be Open!

So Elijah… camped beside Kerith Brook… ravens brought him bread and meat… morning and evening… But after a while the brook dried up… Then the Lord said… “Go and live in the village of Zarephath… I have instructed a widow there to feed you.” 1 Kings 17:5-9

The story is told of a daughter who rearranged the living room to suit her father. But when he saw the new arrangement, he was very upset and shouted at everybody. Why? He wanted everything to be the way he left it. After he had become calm, his wife asked him, have you even seen what your daughter did? But he flared up again; I want my chair where I left my chair! Does that sound familiar?

Remain Flexible

“Your ears will hear sweet words behind you: “Go this way. There is your path; this is how you should go” whenever you must decide whether to turn to the right or the left” Isa.30:21 [VOICE]

God has and will continue to give you victory in this battle field of life. You are the general of your life and you need to take responsibility for it. That is why we will continue to learn and operate these principles of war. You being the general of your life does not contradict the Lordship of Jesus in any way. In fact, God is excited when we take our place. He says “…whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heavenMatt.18:18. It starts on earth. Picture It

“If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves” Prov.29:18  [MSG, emphasis added]

In the Book of Joshua, chapter six [please read] is the story of Israel. God had given them a clear objective to take Jericho. God said you and your fighting men should march round the city once a day for six days. On the seventh day you are to march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the horns. When you hear the priests give one long blast on the ram’s horns, have all the people shout as loud as they can. Heaven will hear, the angels will be Read the rest of this entry

The Sabbath Principle

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?” Luke 13:16 [KJV].

Jesus was saying to them, you are telling me that because it is a Sabbath, this woman should not be loosed? Shouldn’t she being a daughter of Abraham be loosed? When you put systems before sympathy, you will miss God. When you put “this is how we do it” before the people God came to do it for, you will miss it. And this was the problem with the Jews. Who instituted the Sabbath? God. When you now put the Sabbath before the people, there obviously will be a problem. And Read the rest of this entry

Reference Point

The Lord then answered him and said…  And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shameLuke 13: 15 & 17 [emphasis added]

Everywhere your lifting is being queried, Jesus Himself will answer for you. Everywhere people are querying the choice of you, God Himself will answer every query. And when He answers, all of them will be put to shame [say amen]. Try and have some faith here; God will answer for you and all your enemies will be put to shame, in Jesus Name. “And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by HimLuke 13:17 [emphasis added]. Your lifting will inspire multitudes to be lifted, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.   Read the rest of this entry

Brothers Keeper

“Israel has sinned and broken my covenant! They have stolen some of the things that I commanded must be set apart for me. And they have not only stolen them but have lied about it and hidden the things among their own belongings” Josh.7:11 [emphasis added]

People argue about many things especially about tithing. Some ask, “If I do not tithe will I go to hell?” The answer is no. But that stubborn thing in you that can make you look God in the face and do your own thing will take you to hell. Just obey God! When you obey God, you are paying obeisance. That is why Jesus said, “these people, they draw near to Me with their lips but their heart is far away from Me.” So what has God told you to do? Do it! What has He warned you not Read the rest of this entry

Obeisance

“Israel has sinned and broken my covenant!… That is why the Israelites are running from their enemies in defeat [therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies]…” Josh.7:11-12 [emphasis added]

You will Stand and prevail over your enemies in the Mighty Name of Jesus. The word obeisance is gotten from the word obedient.  Obeisance is a gesture expressing deferential respect, such as a bow. Obedience to God is paying obeisance to God. When we bow to God we are obeying Him. When we obey God we are bowing to Him. Obedience to God is bowing to God. You must have heard this said, if you bow before God you will stand before any enemy.
