Wake Up!
“One time during the mating season, I had a dream and saw that the male goats mating with the females were streaked, speckled, and spotted’ Gen.31:10
A dream is a mental picture of what could be. For some it could be the possibility of a happy, harmonious, and joy filled marriage. That is a dream, something that could be. For some it could be the possibility of being wealthy and not having to beg. For some others, it could be more specific, the possibility of charging mobile phones without cables connected to anything – wireless charging. Dreams could be a still picture or a motion Read the rest of this entry
Dare To Dream!
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert’ Isa. 43:19 [KJV]
God expects us to see the things He wants to do before He does them. A boy goes to his father with the request for a smart phone. And one day, the father calls the boy and says ‘Behold your smart phone, can you not see it?’ The child, while probably wondering if his father is sane says, ‘Dad I cannot see any smart phone; buy the smart phone and I will see it’. This is very similar to the way God deals with us but sadly a lot of us are responding like the boy. God is saying to you, ‘see the new thing I want to do. I will make a way in the wilderness but I need you to see it first’. It is like an instruction for us to see it. It is as if we have the capacity to see it. It is as if He is giving us the capacity to see this new thing He wants to do. And we are wondering, God I can’t see it. God is saying ‘behold, I am doing this new thing; I want you to see it. You have to accept you can see it first’. God is saying, ‘dare to dream’. It is not enough to be favoured; it is not enough to have dreams. Favour opens doors for dreams to come to fruition. If you are favoured and you don’t have a dream, it is like filling your car with fuel but having no direction, nowhere to drive the car to. Favour is what brings our dreams to reality because it is not by power or might.
What exactly is a dream? Dream here does not necessarily refer to when you sleep and you have a dream. If you are one of those who do not dream when you sleep then please note that this does not mean you do not have a dream. Even though you do not dream when you sleep, you should still have a dream. For those who sleep and see masquerades in their dream and are wondering if that is their dream. That is not your dream. If you have been seeing masquerades, today it will come to an end, in Jesus Name. So what you see in your sleep is not necessarily the dream we are referring to even though it can be a part of it also. You know God can give you a dream in that state of being asleep [Joel 2:28]. Even though some people say if God needs to knock you down to show you a dream, it means you are an old man. You should be awake and see the dream – the vision clearly. A dream is a mental picture of what could be. Read the rest of this entry
Stay On The Wheel!
‘So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over’ Jer.18:3-4.
Let’s go back to the beginning but this time, let’s see what would have happened if things played out differently. The angels were marveling at God just speaking the words and the earth taking shape at His word. ‘Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us’ Gen.1:26. And at this point, the Almighty God bends down, takes dust, and begins to form it. And all the angels begin to speak at once in total amazement. ‘What is He doing? He has been calling forth everything but why is He picking up dust? He is going to get His hands dirty!’ But God is focused on the dust in the palm of His hands, Read the rest of this entry
Money Money!
‘Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering’ Ex.25:2 [KJV]
The second reason why we save money is so that when God calls for a seed we will have something to sow. Typical example is the Jews. When they were leaving Egypt, God blessed them with gold and all the jewelries of the Egyptians. God expected that they retain the wealth. But instead they built a golden calf with it. When Moses saw what had happened, in anger, he melted the calf, mixed it in Read the rest of this entry
Save Money
‘A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches’ Prov.11:16 [KJV].
The second way to relate with money is Save Money. God wants us to save money. God expects you and I to retain wealth. There is a Scottish proverb that says “a fool may earn money but it takes a wise man to keep it”. The Bible says, ‘A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches’. Strong men retain riches; a weak man spends all he has. No matter how much he makes, a weak man Read the rest of this entry
I See A Gift
‘Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it’ Prov.22:6 [AMP].
As a parent, whether spiritual or biological, it is important to be discerning. For some people, the enemy is trying to push their gifting in directions that do not glorify God. This is where you come in as a parent; nurture your child back into the way of the Lord. There was a lady I used to disciple. This lady could lie. She could tell you that it’s dark outside at noon even though you can see its bright outside. And she would shed hearty tears and you will be forced to reconsider that maybe it is Read the rest of this entry
Individual Gifting
‘Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it’ Prov.22:6 [AMP].
I am praying that God will bless you tremendously in the Mighty Name of Jesus. I have learnt that money is controlled by two sets of people. The people that bring value to people and the people that steal from people. If you are born again, you do not belong to the second category. Money starts from value. There are so many things that are of value that you can do but you cannot do everything that is of value. You have to do something that is valuable that you are good at. Beyond that, Read the rest of this entry
Retention Capacity II
‘…Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another. Soon every container was full to the brim! “Bring me another jar”, she… “There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing’ 2 kings 4:5-6.
You need to realize that it is your capacity that is limiting God not God’s ability. It is your capacity – your capacity to believe. You need to increase your capacity to belong. Some of us cannot keep relationships. Some people do not know how to value relationships. You need to increase your capacity to work. ‘…Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled’. That is a lot of work. If she had stopped at vessel number three and said she was tired, her Read the rest of this entry
Retention Capacity I
‘…Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another. Soon every container was full to the brim! “Bring me another jar”, she… “There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing’ 2 kings 4:5-6.
Principle #8 is the capacity principle. The capacity principle simply states that a container cannot retain more than its capacity. For instance, someone has a two-liter container. Then the contents of a hundred liter tank are emptied into the two-liter container. At the end of the day that container will only retain two-liters. So capacity is more important than anything else. You and I need to invest in our capacity. We need to read, stretch our minds, and stretch our capacity. ‘So she Read the rest of this entry
Borrow Vessels
‘And Elisha said, “Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors’ 2 Kings 4:3.
Principle #6 is the principle of relationships. The principle of relationships simply states that you cannot fulfill your destiny alone. ‘And Elisha said, “Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors’. You cannot reach this level of multiplication without your friends and your neighbors. Who are the people that God has put in relationship with you, or put you in relationship with? My job this morning is to help you see the importance of Read the rest of this entry
