1 Chronicles 4:10 “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” (KJV).
Jesus teaches us how to pray in Matthew 6:13 “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil…” (KJV).It is valid to pray that God will deliver you from evil.

Psalm 105:4 “Go to the Lord for help; and worship him continually.” (GNT, emphasis added).
Yesterday, we saw that prayer and justice are inseparable. We can plead for justice because of the cross of Calvary where justice was executed. Therefore, when we come to God and ask for justice, we are not looking at our own merit. Read the rest of this entry →
