Speak The Word
“The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “let there be light,” and there was light” Gen.1:2-3 [emphasis added]
#2. Speak His Prophetic Word. I need to do my part to unleash the Power of the Holy Ghost to do that which I cannot do. Once I am aligned with God, the next thing I need to do is speak His prophetic Word. “Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord!” Eze.37:4 [emphasis added]. He did not say think, He did not say imagine, and He did not say mutter. You can have a prophetic message from God, but until you speak it nothing happens.
Re-Position
“Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” Eze.37:3
To unleash the Power of the Holy Spirit, to unleash the Spirit of God in our favour, there are two things that you and I must do.
#1. Align With God. To unleash the Power of the Holy Spirit in your favor, you need to align with God. You have your own ideas; agreed. Some people even have their own idea of how God should be God. They look at how the whole world is and say, God, if I were God I can do a better job. Arrogance! You think you are better than God? Align with God, that is the first thing you need to do. And I will show you in Scripture.
Because He Lives
“Roll the stone aside,” Jesus told them. But Martha, the dead man’s sister, protested, “Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible.” John 11:39
Lazarus was not only sick, he died. He did not only die, he was buried and he had started decaying. In other words, bacteria and fungi had begun to feast on him, releasing ammonia or whatever waste product they release that causes the stench of a dead body. By now the irreversible appears to have happened. By now Jesus, it is impossible for You to do anything. Because Lazarus came back to life, everything that represents Lazarus in your life will come back to life. Because Jesus is alive, it will come back to life. I beseech you [using Paul’s terminology], do not take this season Read the rest of this entry
Address It
“The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:31 [emphasis added].
#2. A High Level of Self-Esteem- to unlock concerted action, you must have a very high self-esteem and this is so important. I study great people, great men and women- that is one of my interests. And one huge thing I have seen is that great men and women like themselves and they respect themselves. It is amazing how comfortable they are in their own skin. And because they like and respect themselves, they are able to like and respect other people.
Number Power
“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble” Ecc.4:9-10
It is standard practice that when the enemy wants to destroy someone he starts by isolating them. The first time he pulls them out, they do not even notice on time. It is like a bonfire; if you pull a log out from the fire, it will still have fire on it. That log, by itself, will still burn for a while. So you find such people being arrogant and full of themselves because they think they are doing well by themselves. Guess what? Slowly but surely the fire will go off. When the Read the rest of this entry
With Jesus
“Each one of you will put to flight a thousand of the enemy, for the LORD your God fights for you, just as he has promised” Josh.23:10 [emphasis added]
Concerted action is the key to synergy. You cannot have synergy without pulling together. Synergy is so key! So what is synergy? Synergy simply means, as far as human effort is concerned, one plus one will always be greater than two. You cannot have synergy without concerted action. God wants us to synergize, to pull together. God says to us, “go to the ants and learn…” He is not just saying go and learn diligence. Yes, there is diligence to be learnt from the ants but Read the rest of this entry
Only One
“And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but are yourself lost or destroyed?” Lu.9:25
“But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.” But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” Lu.10:40-42 Read the rest of this entry
Pure & Simple
And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper” 1 Kings 19:12 [emphasis added]
If you do not focus on simplicity, you get complexity by default. Simplifying things is a lot like digestion, it is a lot of work but that is where productivity begins. There is a rule called Occam’s Razor, Occam’s Razor simply states that “it is pointless to do with more what can be done with less”. It appears to be straight forward, right? It is pointless to do with more what you can do with less. Sometimes we just waste resources. Without casting aspersions at our ladies, why do you have to say in so many words what you can say with just a few? For example, my wife wants to tell me Read the rest of this entry
Key Thoughts II
“Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything” Prov.11:24
As long as you are on earth, you are going to be dealing with people. People are capable of giving you the greatest joy in life. People are capable of causing you the greatest pain in life. It is people that are going to open the door to your next level or stand in the door way and try to frustrate your life. Everyone you are in a relationship with, you are dealing with [your boss, Read the rest of this entry
Key Thoughts I
“Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise. Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair” Prov.1:2-3
There are four key concepts in economics that are pivotal and reveal the human nature. They show us how we make choices and how to relate to the people in our lives. Why? It is because our relationships determine our height. How we relate with the people in our lives determines how far we go. I will explain these four key concepts in economics with an illustration.
