In The Spirit

Romans 8:26 “Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.” (MSG).

Yesterday, we began to look at the benefits of praying in the spirit and we said we will be focusing on fourteen out of the many benefits of praying in tongues. The Big Deal, II

Isa.62:6-7 “O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord.  Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.”

2 Cor.10:4 (AMPC) “For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds”

Rev.12:11 “And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.” [with emphasis]. Read the rest of this entry

From Victory

Col.2: 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.”

If you are a genuine Christian, it would not be long before the enemy attacks you. The reality is, the enemy is going to come at you whether you like it or not. Read the rest of this entry
