No More Delay!

Num.14:28 “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just what you have spoken in My hearing I will most certainly do to you” (AMP)

God has made you and I kings and priests to Him and where the word of a king is there is power. If you look at the illustration in today’s devotional, box A is your rights, and box B is your reality. Eph.1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (KJV, emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry

Voice It

Psalm 119:149 “Hear my voice in accordance with your love; preserve my life, Lord, according to your laws.” (NIV)

Your voice is indispensable for things to move in your favour. You must know how to deploy your voice in the spiritual. You must know how to use your voice when you pray. Jesus was hungry, He saw a fig tree and wanted to pluck its fruit. Read the rest of this entry

Know & Do

Lam.3:40-41 “Let’s take a good look at the way we’re living and reorder our lives under God. Let’s lift our hearts and hands at one and the same time, praying to God in heaven.” (MSG)

God is saying to you and me, Isa.62:7-9 Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth. The Lord has sworn to Jerusalem by his own strength: “I will never again hand you over to your enemies. Never again will foreign warriors come and take away your grain and new wine.  You raised the grain, and you will eat it, praising the Lord. Within the courtyards of the Temple, you yourselves will drink the wine you have pressed.” [emphasis added]. Read the rest of this entry

Speak!

Jer.1:9-10 “…for you will be My voice. This very day I appointed you to speak with My authority over nations and kingdoms. Your word—My word—will have the power to uproot and stamp out; it will destroy and upend. And then your word—My word—will rebuild and plant anew.” (VOICE)

God actually pays attention to our sacrifices, and He has set things up in such a way that our sacrifice actually matters. Our physical sacrifices mysteriously produce supernatural releases, and we need to understand that. Read the rest of this entry

Lift Your Voice

James 5:16 “…The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].” (AMP).

I pray that God will saturate your being with His presence. I pray that you will be empowered to speak to the Red Sea, and it will part. I pray that you will be empowered to speak to fire, and it will respond. I pray that you will be empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring forth and to create deliverers on earth for Read the rest of this entry

The Celebration

Mark 2:12And the man jumped up, grabbed his mat, and walked out through the stunned onlookers. They were all amazed and praised God, exclaiming, “We’ve never seen anything like this before!” [emphasis added].

Jesus was still there teaching, so why was the man who had just been healed going home or where was he going? His friends were on the roof throughout, they did not climb down the ropes they used to lower their friend. Read the rest of this entry

Worth It

Mark 2:4 “But when they realized that they couldn’t even get near him because of the crowd, they went up on top of the house and tore away the roof above Jesus’ head. And when they had broken through, they lowered the paralyzed man on a stretcher right down in front of him!” (TPT)

Compassion. Faith. Action. Persistence. Creativity. Cooperation. Our seventh lesson from Mark 2:1-12 is Sacrifice. Jesus was living in a rented apartment because we have no record of Jesus building a house or owning property. Read the rest of this entry

Together

1 Cor.3:8 “The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work.”

Compassion. Faith. Action. Persistence. Creativity. Our sixth lesson from Mark 2:1-12 is Cooperation. The four friends of the paralyzed man worked together. Luke 5:19 “…they went up on the roof and lowered the man on his mat through the ceiling into the middle of the crowd.” (NCV, emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry

Hands On

Acts 3:6-7 “But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!” Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly…”

Compassion. Faith. Action. Persistence. Our fifth lesson for the four men in Mark 2:1-12 is Creativity. These men were creative, they dared to do something different. Sometimes, we look at a situation and we accept defeat – it is my fault, these things are just the way they are so there is nothing I can do. Read the rest of this entry

Persistent Action

2 Cor. 5:20 “So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. (AMP)

From the story of the four men in Mark 2:1-12 [please read], we have learnt we must have compassion on others, we need to have faith and we need to act. Luke 14:23Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” (KJV, emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry
