Be Aware I

‘Then Jesus demanded, “What is your name?” And he replied, “My name is Legion, because there are many of us inside this man.” Mark 5:9

My earthly father before he passed on he would say to me that God is like a market and there are many routes into a market. Markets in the old days usually do not have a single entrance so people can come in from anywhere and go out from anywhere. However, towards the end of his life he realized the emptiness, void, and vanity of a life without the True and Living God. T.D Jakes while preaching said that he was at the deathbed of his father, and his father said to him that it is so ironic that it is now at the end of his life, he suddenly knows the real purpose of life. T.D Jakes said he left that place saying to himself that he will not wait till the end of his own life before he discovers the true purpose of life. You would have wasted your life. Jesus is the Way, He is not a way, He is the Way.

Over the next few days we will be dealing with the aspect of the supernatural that relates to satan and demons. We will be touching on the five things that every believer must know. The first thing we need to know is that satan and demons are real. I know some very intelligent people say it is just a figment of our imagination. The truth is that satan and demons are not a figment of peoples imaginations, they are real. In my few years of pastoring I have had to encounter all sorts of things. I have encountered people that actually use demons to their own advantage.  There was a particular wife that used demons to control her husband. I told her she had to let the demon go but she was unwilling to let go. At first she was totally unwilling but when I led her to understand that only Jesus can help her with her situation, she let the demon go and she was free. People use demons to their advantage. Demons are real, don’t put your life in danger by living in denial of their existence. You now some Christians are just very naïve. The truth is that before you were born they existed and they still exist. Some of them are even around you but Jesus is greater than them all. Know beyond doubt that satan and demons are real.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for the power in the Name of Jesus. Thank You because the Name of Jesus casts out darkness, in Jesus Name.
