Keep Well

3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.” (AMPC)

God is saying take care of your soul. And this is what works; He says that this life that you have, if you try to save it, you will lose it. But if you don’t care, in the sense that you give it up for Him, for the Kingdom, and the Gospel, He says, then you will save it. That is where your freedom, joy, and liberation are. But you cannot do it without faith. That is why the Bible says in Hebrews 11:6 “…for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (NKJV). Everyone who comes to God must know that God exists and believe He is. Therefore, without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is what makes us take our lives and plug it into Jesus, and that is what makes us bloom, flourish, and be enlarged. Hebrews 11:7 It was by faith that Noah built a large boat… He obeyed God…”.

Abraham believed that God would keep His promise. Most times, we get overwhelmed, but relax because God is not a man that He should lie. Abraham believed that God would keep His promise. I want it written concerning me that Olufemi Monehin believed that God would keep His promise. I want it written concerning you that you believed that God would keep His promise. Faith is the confidence that God is who He says He is and that He will do what He has promised to do. Hebrews 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith…” (NIV). This is what gives us the liberty that we have and why, by the grace of God, we are not depressed, not suffering from anxiety, and Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has no power over us. That is why sadness and gloom have no power over us because we know our Redeemer lives, and we have put our faith in Him.

So, the ultimate expression of faith is to trust that God is who He says He is, and He will do what He has promised to do. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you will go from grace to grace (say Amen). You will go from strength to strength, and you will increase in victorious power according to Psalm 84:7 (AMP). You have to appear before God; showing up before God cannot be delegated. Your path will be just as the shining sun that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18). You will be changed from glory to glory in the Name of Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:18). You will become more and more powerful (1 Chronicles 11:9). You will become more and more powerful mentally – your mind, soul, and spirit. In your relationships, finances, and your life, you will become more and more powerful in the Name of Jesus.

Prayer: Father, please strengthen my faith and prosper my soul, in Jesus Name. Amen!
