The Exchange III
Isa.61:3 “To all who mourn in Zion, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, oil of joy instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.” (NLT & NIV]
God is trading His beauty for our ashes and He is doing it in every area. We are going from barrenness to Fruitfulness, from sorrow to Joy, from bondage to Freedom, from loss to Recovery, from death to Life, from poverty to Wealth, and from shame to Honour. Read the rest of this entry
The Exchange II
Ps. 126:1-2 (KJV) “When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.”
God is trading His beauty for our ashes and He is doing it in every area. God is giving us beauty for ashes, from sorrow to Joy. God is giving us His joy in the place of sorrow. Read the rest of this entry

Job 42:5-6 “I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. I take back everything I said, and I sit in dust and ashes to show my repentance.”

Turn Around
Isa.61:2 He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.” (emphasis added).

Beautiful
Isa. 62:3 (AMPC) “You shall also be [so beautiful and prosperous as to be thought of as] a crown of glory and honour in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem [exceedingly beautiful] in the hand of your God.”

Set Time!

Isa.61:1 “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me…” (emphasis added). The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon you [say Amen]. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord; sovereign means God does not need permission from anyone to promote you and no one can query Him. Read the rest of this entry
Divine Encounter
1 Sam. 1:17-18 “In that case,” Eli said, “go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him.” “Oh, thank you, sir!” she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad.”

Mercy & Help
Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
God can help you. In fact, God wants to help you and God wants to be with you. So, we move from, Can God help me? to God can help me, and then because we are convinced that God can help us, we move to, “God must help me”. Read the rest of this entry
