Admit and Maneuver

So approximately 3,000 warriors were sent, but they were soundly defeated… Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid or discouraged. Take all your fighting men and attack Ai, for I have given you the king of Ai, his people, his town, and his land” Josh.7:4 & 8:1

There are some maneuvers you make and seeds you sow in the spirit that rings on generationally; so be flexible. Be open and one of the keys to being open is, you must admit that you can be wrong. I thought… but I was wrong. Always be open to the possibility that you may be wrong. It will save your life and save you from praying unnecessary prayers. Read Joshua 7 & 8.

Napoleon the Great made the mistake of not being open to the possibility of being wrong. He was a master of offense Read the rest of this entry

Seed Maneuvers

…these Levites—the ones who collect the tithe—paid a tithe to Melchizedek when their ancestor Abraham paid a tithe to him. For although Levi wasn’t born yet, the seed from which he came was in Abraham’s body when Melchizedek collected the tithe from him” Heb.7:9-10

There are seeds you will sow that will shape not only your life but also the lives of your children. There are some covenant maneuvers in the spirit that speaks for generations to come. It seems as though certain people are just prospering at everything they do. What you do not know is that their parents have “hit the ground” on their behalf. A lot of people are upset with me and some even accuse me of not knowing how to pray. My response is, I may not know how to pray but my grandmother prayed for me, and my mother is praying for me. Perhaps because I was a Read the rest of this entry

With You!

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit… The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:6 & 8 [emphasis added]

Years ago I had to represent the company I used to work for at the time, in South Africa. I went through all the necessary preparations with our partners because I was the one going to do the presentation. When I was about to go, one of them shook my hand and said, the forces be with you. I did not want to say amen because I was not sure which force he was referring to. But when I inquired about him, I found out that he is a Jew. Sometimes you think you are the only one that knows God. Every Jew knows Read the rest of this entry

The Twist

“One day news came to David that the Philistines were at Keilah stealing grain from the threshing floors. David asked the Lord, “Should I go and attack them?” “Yes, go and save Keilah,” the Lord told him” 1 Sam.23:1-2

David is a master of maneuver. Please read the story in 1 Samuel 23, it is an amazing read. David’s heart was for his people Israel even though he himself was on the run from Saul. The Jewish city, Keilah, was being attacked by the Philistines. So David asked for permission to help them. As soon as he got clearance from God, David engaged his six hundred men.

But David’s men said, “We’re afraid even here in Judah. We certainly don’t want to go to Keilah to fight the whole Philistine army!” So David asked the Lord again, and again the Lord replied, “Go down to Keilah, for I will help you conquer the Philistines.” 1 Sam.23:3-4. So David went and delivered the city from the hands of the Philistines. Of Read the rest of this entry

Be Open!

So Elijah… camped beside Kerith Brook… ravens brought him bread and meat… morning and evening… But after a while the brook dried up… Then the Lord said… “Go and live in the village of Zarephath… I have instructed a widow there to feed you.” 1 Kings 17:5-9

The story is told of a daughter who rearranged the living room to suit her father. But when he saw the new arrangement, he was very upset and shouted at everybody. Why? He wanted everything to be the way he left it. After he had become calm, his wife asked him, have you even seen what your daughter did? But he flared up again; I want my chair where I left my chair! Does that sound familiar?

Maneuver

Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life” John 3:6

George Washington, one of the ex-presidents of the United States of America, was the one that led the campaign that broke the back of the British hold on America. It was successful because he deployed the Principle of Maneuver. Up until this time, he had lost all his battles. George Washington was trained in continental warfare. Continental warfare has a lot to do with structure and order. He approached the battle against the British forces using his Read the rest of this entry

Remain Flexible

“Your ears will hear sweet words behind you: “Go this way. There is your path; this is how you should go” whenever you must decide whether to turn to the right or the left” Isa.30:21 [VOICE]

God has and will continue to give you victory in this battle field of life. You are the general of your life and you need to take responsibility for it. That is why we will continue to learn and operate these principles of war. You being the general of your life does not contradict the Lordship of Jesus in any way. In fact, God is excited when we take our place. He says “…whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heavenMatt.18:18. It starts on earth. Force Multiplier

“And if a house is divided (split into factions and rebelling) against itself, that house will not be able to last” Mark 3:25 [AMP]

Mass has two components: Concentration and Unity. And because of these two components, the Principle of Mass is a force multiplier that enables smaller forces to conquer a much larger enemy. “And David said with longing, “Oh, that someone would give me a drink of the water from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!” So the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, drew water from the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, and took it and brought it to David…” 2Sam.23: 15-16 [NKJV, emphasis added]. Focus

“The Twelve called a meeting of all the believers. They said, “We apostles should spend our time teaching the word of God, not running a food program …select seven men who are …full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will give them this responsibility” Acts 6:2-3

Concentrate your powers! Even the apostles realized that they could not serve food, take care of the widows, and visit the prisons. So they chose to focus on the ministry of the Word and to prayer. What is that one thing? Concentration simply means the power of focusing all one’s attention. When you focus, inevitably you create blindness and that is okay. But a lot of people do not want any blindness. However, the truth remains that you cannot be effective if you Read the rest of this entry

Twenty – Eighty!

David remarked longingly to his men, “Oh, how I would love some of that good water from the well by the gate in Bethlehem.” So the Three broke through the Philistine lines, drew some water… and brought it back to David…” 1 Chro.11:17-18

The Pareto Principle states that twenty percent of what you are doing is responsible for eighty percent of the results you are getting. Only twenty percent of what you are doing right now is producing eighty percent or more of the result you are getting. Regardless of how wealthy you are, it is only twenty percent of what you are doing that is generating the wealth. Even in church, it is only twenty percent of the people in attendance that make things happen. Read the rest of this entry
