The Rhythm
James 1:19 “…Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” (NIV, emphasis added).
We have learnt when we should move fast. The other side of rhythm is when do I move slowly? When do I pause, and not take immediate action? Proverbs 14:29 “It’s smart to be patient…” (CEV). So, when should I be patient? When should I ponder before I move? Read the rest of this entry
Right Now!
2 Corinthians 6:2 “For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.”
When should I move fast? When God Tells Me to Do Something. When I Need To Ask or Offer Forgiveness. When I Have Made a Promise to God. And When I Have An Opportunity To Do Good. Wherever you have an opportunity to go do good — move fast. Read the rest of this entry
Immediately
Genesis 22:2-3 “Take your son, your only son—yes, Isaac, whom you love so much—and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering… The next morning Abraham got up early. He saddled his donkey and… set out for the place God had told him about.”
I should move fast When God Tells Me to Do Something. For a lot of people, Jesus is beckoning on you. You need to respond immediately. For some, it is an instruction God has given to you, but you are not doing it immediately. That is the fastest way to get out of sync in life. Read the rest of this entry
In Sync
Psalm 119:60 “Without delay, I hurry to obey your commands.” (GNT, emphasis added)
Following the Holy Spirit is a skill, but you can learn it. And I pray that you will learn it in this season in the Name of Jesus. 1Kings 8:58 “May he keep us centred and devoted to him, following the life path he has cleared, watching the signposts, walking at the pace and rhythms he laid down for our ancestors.” (MSG). In Time
Ecclesiastes 8:6 “There is a right time and a right way to do everything, but we know so little!” (GNT, emphasis added).
A lot of people seem to have two left legs. It is as if they are always stumbling. They do the right thing at the wrong time and do the wrong thing at the right time. A lot of people are usually out of sync, out of rhythm. I pray today that your life will come into the rhythm of heaven in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Read the rest of this entry
Be Deliberate
Galatians 3:26 “…we are all children of God through faith in Jesus Christ” (LB, emphasis added).
What have you been doubting that God can handle? Pause and think about it. What have you been doubting that God can handle in your life, marriage, career, family, children, business, finances, relationships, etc? Read the rest of this entry
Close & Competent
Galatians 4:6 “And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father!” (AMPC)
What kind of Father is God? God Is A Close Father. Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (NIV, emphasis added). Are you broken-hearted? God is near you. Do you feel like your spirit has been crushed? God is a sympathetic Father. Read the rest of this entry
Father
Ephesians 6:4 “Fathers, don’t exasperate your children, but raise them up with loving discipline and counsel that brings the revelation of our Lord.” (TPT).
What kind of Father is God? He is not only a caring and consistent Father. God Is A Close Father. Acts 17:27 “God did this so people would…reach out for Him and find Him, since He is not far from each of us.” (NIV, emphasis added). God is close. Read the rest of this entry
Changeless
James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from… the Father… who does not change like shifting shadows.” (NIV, emphasis added).
What kind of Father is God? God is a caring and consistent Father. The truth is that inconsistent fathers produce insecure children. When you see insecure children, check, they often have inconsistent fathers. Remember the statistics we shared some days ago? Read the rest of this entry
Caring & Consistent
Matthew 6:31-32 “…do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or… ‘What shall we wear?’ …For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” (NKJV, emphasis added)
What kind of Father is God? God is a caring Father. He cares about what you wear. The Bible says, “…For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” God cares. Someone walked up to his Pastor and said, ‘Pastor, I have a big problem in my spiritual life. The problem is that I do not love God enough.’ And his Pastor’s response was, ‘That is actually not your problem. Your problem is that you do not know how much God loves you.’ Read the rest of this entry
