The Exchange V

Ps.126:1-2 (KJV) When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

Yesterday, we said that when God wants to beautify, robe or crown someone, He puts a smile on his or her face. Smiling makes you beautiful. I pray that you will smile physically, you will smile spiritually, you will smile emotionally, and you will smile relationally in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

Surplus

Isa. 35:6-7 “The lame will leap like a deer, and those who cannot speak will sing for joy! Springs will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams will water the wasteland. The parched ground will become a pool, and springs of water will satisfy the thirsty land…”

God is a God of abundance. Lack [poverty] is inconsistent with the nature of God. Check the Bible, every time God had to meet a need, He goes over and above even when it is not necessary. Read the rest of this entry

Insist On It!

John 14:13-14 “You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!”

Can you stand to be blessed? Many of us are afraid to step into what God has for us. Caleb said, Bring-It-On! Bring on the promises of God. Can you stand the backbiting and the wave of jealousy? Josh.14:12 “So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me…” (emphasis added). Caleb stood and demanded that God’s promise to him be fulfilled. You need to stand and demand that God’s promise to you be fulfilled. In Joshua 14, we see that every other tribe of Israel got their portion of land through lot [divine lot]. But Caleb demanded for his own and this is a big deal – huge! What Caleb did is a big deal and I will explain. Read the rest of this entry

Bring-It-On!

Josh.21:45 Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true.

Yesterday, we learned that Hebron is a place where we relate with people, not on the basis of what they do for us but, in recognition of God’s work in bringing us together. The place of Hebron is the place of the New-Streams. Yesterday, we concluded by saying we must trash the “me, myself, and I” mindset. The “I just want to pay school fees and pay rent” way of thinking. How can you just exist to pay school fees, pay rent, and die? Read the rest of this entry

Hebron

Joshua 14:12 “So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me…” (emphasis added)

You can be as strong as you are at eighty-five as you are at forty, do you receive that promise? Please read Joshua 14:6-12. When God has a promise for you, what will happen to that promise is up to you, you must decide really. God said to Caleb through Moses, “Hebron is yours – take it”. The word Hebron is from the Hebrew word spelled “Chevron” and it is derived from Hebrew words: “chevar “(meaning to unite, to join); “chever” (association), “chaver” (companion). Hebron was previously called Kiriath-arba. Arba is one of the descendants of the Amorites [the giants] and he was a great hero of the descendants of Anak [Joshua 14:15]. Read the rest of this entry

How Well Not How Far

Heb. 12:1 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.” (emphasis added)

Father, even before we dive into what You have for us today and over the next few days, we just want to thank You for Your presence. In Your presence, we are secure, we are safe, we find life, we find hope, we find joy, Read the rest of this entry

All Sufficient

Philip.2:9 “Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,  in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord…”

Every knee bows to Jesus! Your God is stronger than their god. There is no reason to be afraid. Say to yourself, ‘calm down, there is no reason to be afraid.’ The second reason why you should not be afraid or worry is, God is with us. Our God is not only stronger, But He is also with us. Your King

Isa.7:8-9 “for Syria is no stronger than its capital, Damascus, and Damascus is no stronger than its king, Rezin…Israel is no stronger than its capital, Samaria, and Samaria is no stronger than its king, Pekah son of Remaliah.”

No city, no nation is stronger than its stronghold. The capital is the stronghold. The strong hold is the strongest part of the nation. God is saying, Syria is no stronger than Damascus and guess what. No stronghold is stronger than the leader, than their king. Read the rest of this entry

Needless Worrying

Isa.40:28 “Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. 29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.”

Anyone that will look Jehovah, the Creator of the heaven and the earth in the face and say, I want to raise my throne like your own is a bastard. Jehovah is your Father and He is the source of all spirits, the God of all flesh. Read the rest of this entry

Action Sequence

Gen.22:16-17 “This is what the Lord says: Because you have obeyed me and have not withheld even your son, your only son, I swear by my own name that I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky…”

If you are going to walk with God, you need to understand this. God will ask you to do things sometimes that will not make sense. All in a bid to make you feel what He is feeling. God will take you through a path that you cannot understand all because you are His friend. Read the rest of this entry
