James 1:22 “But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.”
In line with God’s Word, we will not only look at ourselves in His Word, we will evaluate ourselves and change our ways. So today, we begin by evaluating our integrity. Read the rest of this entry
“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God” Rom.1:20 [emphasis added].
You have no excuse for not knowing God. The way God has set things up is that we are without excuse. Particularly if you are in God’s Favourite House where everything is aimed at showing you Jesus. Beginning from the New Creation Reality classes, to the Journey classes, then Life groups, and by God’s grace powerful messages and anointed worship. Have you done the Journey? What is your excuse? Do you think you will stand before God and give an excuse? It will not work! Face it; you are as close to God as you want to be.
“On the third day of the fast, Esther put on her royal robes and entered the inner court of the palace, just across from the king’s hall… When he saw Queen Esther… he welcomed her and held out the gold scepter to her. So Esther approached…” Est.5:1-2
Instead of making excuses, choose to make progress. You cannot make both at the same time. Your oven cannot bake excuses and bake progress at the same time. Choose one- excuses or progress, what will it be? A great war general, George Washington said, “ninety-nine percent of failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.” In any organization, ninety-nine percent of failures come from people that make excuses. Some even have research data to back up why they failed. Check your business and even your home; the children that make the most excuses Read the rest of this entry

#4: STOP PROCRASTINATING. Stop procrastinating! What has God told you to do or what is God telling you to do? Just do it and stop procrastinating. God has told you to do something – just do it! I have come across people who have said they will do what God is telling them to do later and they boast that they will do it better then. Have you encountered such people? “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends” Rev.3:20.
#4. Jesus is waiting to fellowship with you and I. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me” Rev.3:20 [KJV]. This passage is very popular with evangelistic crusades and people give their lives to Jesus. That’s fantastic! “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” 2 Cor.3: 17
The reason you are still battling with that sin which is keeping you bound, is the excuse you are giving. The more you excuse it, the more you are incapacitated by it. Academically, the reason you have not passed your examinations is because you are giving excuses. Who says nobody in your family ever succeeds in math? Read the rest of this entry
