Flows To Fill

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” (NIV).

How will your life look if it overflows with thanksgiving? In answering this question, the first thing we saw is When GRACE Flows In. The second thing is, GRATITUDE fills up. Picture of Grace

Romans 8:31 “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (NIV).

Your picture and understanding of God determines the quality of your life. When it comes to grace, people tend to be on one extreme or the other. Cry Out!

Matthew 20:31-34 “…But they only shouted louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” When Jesus heard them, he stopped and called, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord,” they said, “we want to see!” Jesus felt sorry for them and touched their eyes. Instantly they could see!…”

The lifeguards tell us that they cannot save someone as long as the person is trying to save himself or herself. So, the more the person struggles, the more he or she drowns. The more you try to do it in your strength, the faster you go down. The lifeguard is trained to do two things when someone is drowning. Read the rest of this entry

John 14:9 “…Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father….” (NIV). What a huge statement! Who on earth can say, ‘if you see Me, you have seen The Father?’ It is either an arrogant statement or it is the truth. It is either He is crazy, or He is God. Read the rest of this entry
