Psalm 96:7-9 “O nations of the world, recognize the Lord; recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong. Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his courts. Worship the Lord in all his holy splendour. Let all the earth tremble before him.”
Do you know that the average American CEO reads at least sixty books in one year? When I came across this statistic, I was shocked. How many books do you read in a year? You and I must be deliberate about reading and growing. Read the rest of this entry
In His Service
Eph. 4:16 “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”
Yesterday, we learnt that we can show gratitude to God by singing from our hearts and by telling others the good news. The third way we can show gratitude to God is to thank God by Serving Him With The Abilities He Has Given Us. Read the rest of this entry
The How
Ps.9:1-2 “I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvellous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.”
It is one thing to know ‘why’ you should do something, but it is a totally different thing to know ‘how’. Our focus today is on how to live a life of thanksgiving to God. Stand On It
Josh.14:6 “…Caleb said to Joshua, “Remember what the Lord said to Moses, the man of God, about you and me…” (emphasis added)
The challenge with a lot of us is that we do not remember things that God has said to us. We do a lot of writing but when it matters most, we do not remember. This is why a lot of people are worrying and fear has such a strong grip on many lives. It is because we do not remember. Read the rest of this entry

Your Call
Ps.18:20-24 (MSG) “God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before him. When I got my act together, he gave me a fresh start… I feel put back together, and I’m watching my step. God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes.”
God specializes in new beginnings but for you to enjoy it, you need to let go of the pain of the past. The way a lot of people deal with regret is to blame or to bury. Read the rest of this entry
Uphold Her Glory!
Isa.54:14 “You will be secure under a government that is just and fair. Your enemies will stay far away. You will live in peace, and terror will not come near.”

David’s Secret
Ps.143:5 “I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done. 6 I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land” (NIV, with emphasis).
Today we will be unlocking the door to one of David’s key strengths which is meditation. David knew how to be quiet and focused before God. Read the rest of this entry
