Implications II

Implications I

Job 38:19-20 “Where does light come from, and where does darkness go? Can you take each to its home? Do you know how to get there?”

In today’s scripture reference, we see God asking Job a sarcastic question. The truth is that only God knows where light comes from and where darkness goes. Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV) “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Christ-Like

Childlike

Mark 10:14 “…Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” [with emphasis].

Uncommon

Isa.55:8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”
