The Making

Genesis 50:20 “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”

Act 16:16-29 (please read) is a clear example of how God makes a way out of chains and prison. Even right now, some people reading this are saying, ‘I am tired of this bondage and prison, God’. Today you are walking out free in the Name of Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

Choose Carefully

Proverbs 20:6 “Most people will tell you what loyal friends they are, but are they telling the truth?” (LB)

Over the next few days, we are going to experience relational metamorphosis. The truth is that the greatest joy you will feel and experience in life will come through people. At the same time, the greatest pain you will feel and experience in life will come through people. Read the rest of this entry

Replace & Refocus

Hebrews 2:11 “Jesus, who makes people holy, and those who are made holy are from the same family. So he is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.” (NCV).

Jesus is not ashamed of you! Jesus is not ashamed to call you His sister, His brother! Totally mind blowing! This is God’s truth, right there in His Word. So, you and I must REPLACE Old Lies With God’s Truth. Your father, spouse, or even your children may be ashamed of you. Read the rest of this entry

Reveal & Release

Psalm 32:3 “When I kept things to myself, I felt weak deep inside me. I moaned all day long.” (NCV).

This is the decade of destiny and God is rearranging and repositioning things, can you see it? New things are about to burst forth and are bursting forth already, can you see it? However, you have to be emotionally sound to take advantage of all that God is doing. Read the rest of this entry

Reveal It!

Psalm 34:17-18 “Is anyone crying for help? God is listening, ready to rescue you. If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath.” (MSG)

One of the things we tend to do when we are going through an emotionally challenging time is to hide our hurt. We put up a ‘good face’ in church, at home, and amongst friends – a façade! When people ask, ‘How are you doing?’, you respond, ‘I am good!’ Meanwhile, you are bleeding and dying inside. Read the rest of this entry

Benefits

2 Corinthians 4:7 “We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.” (emphasis added).

The truth is, we have been dropped and we have cracks. This fragile clay actually has cracks. But the beauty is that those cracks are needed so that the treasure in us can come out. Those cracks are needed so that the light can come out. Great power blesses the world through our brokenness. Read the rest of this entry

Be Present!

Phillip.2:8 “He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion!” (TPT).

To get up and to walk in resurrection power, to be all that we were made to be, to arise and to shine in the brightness that God has made for us, firstly we must know the Living Jesus, that Jesus Christ is alive. Secondly, we must know the King Jesus, that Jesus Christ is King. Read the rest of this entry

Your Satisfaction

John 19:28 “Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfil Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.”

Have you ever felt like you need a drink? Sometimes, it is not because you do not have water, but you just need someone to give you water. Have you ever been there, you have water – cold, hot, lukewarm water, yet you are saying I am thirsty, I need a drink? Read the rest of this entry

The Journey

Isa. 53:7 “He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth.”

Easter is a very emotional time for a lot of Christians. Not because Jesus is suffering. Jesus is alive and well. But because Jesus suffered. I am always extremely honoured when I get the opportunity to share my thoughts at a time as this. Read the rest of this entry

When & Why?

Ps.42:11 “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Saviour and my God!”

The first of the four questions that can help you learn from your discouragements is, when are you usually discouraged? I will use the word discouraged loosely here when I say that I can get discouraged Read the rest of this entry
