Psalm 49:4 “I listen carefully to many proverbs and solve riddles with inspiration from a harp”
To experience relational metamorphosis, first, Get Interested In Other People. Second, Do not Be A Chronic Complainer. Philippians 2:14-15 “Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, Read the rest of this entry
Get Involved
Philippians 2:4 “Don’t just think about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and in what they are doing.” (LB).
Who are the people that should be in our circle? Choose close friends who will Challenge You Mentally. Choose close friends who will Support You Emotionally. And choose friends who will Strengthen You Spiritually. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 “…encourage each other and build each other up…”. Read the rest of this entry
The Fundamentals
Psalm 2:8 “Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.” (NKJV)
One of the best ways of getting the best out of relationships is by asking the right questions. And like we said yesterday, most people do not know how to ask questions in relationships. You have people around you even now, who know things that can change your life forever. Read the rest of this entry
Door Dynamics
John 10:9 “I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security).” (AMP)
Some time ago, we looked at the concept of doors and their significance. When you go through a door, it can be an entrance or an exit. When you go through a door, you are entering somewhere and exiting somewhere else. So, the door is actually a metaphor for so many things- for opportunities, success, etc. Read the rest of this entry
No Matter What!
Psalm 50:23 “But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”
If you are going to pray in a crisis, you have to learn to honour God, no matter how you feel. Choose to honour God, no matter what. I want you to make that decision today that you will honour God, no matter what. There is a man in scriptures called Job. Job was a rich man; in fact, he was the richest man. Live To Bless
Proverbs 11:24-25 “Generosity brings prosperity, but withholding from charity brings poverty. Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favour.” (TPT)
Proverbs 11:25 “The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” God Will Open Doors For You If You Open Doors For Others. The golden rule is, “Do unto others as much as you want them to do unto you.” Why are some people stingy with compliments? Read the rest of this entry
Be Sensitive
1 Kings 3:9&12 “…give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong… I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be” (NIV)
Discernment is indispensable in life and in relationships. The more discerning you are, the more right doors you will open. The door of relationships for example, how do you know the person to go out with? Discernment. How do you know the right person to get married to? Discernment. Read the rest of this entry
Follow Him
Luke 4:1 “Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness”
I can give you loads and loads of examples from my personal life, where the Holy Spirit gave very clear instructions such as stop, now go, tell them this amount, once you tell them this amount keep quiet. It never ever gets old! Years ago, I was coming from a night vigil with people in my car. Read the rest of this entry
Led
Acts 8:29 “Philip received another prompting from the Holy Spirit: Holy Spirit: Go over to the chariot and climb on board.” (Voice)
If I listen to the Holy Spirit and let Him be my guide, the Holy Spirit will help me know what I need to know, and the Holy Spirit will help me get where I need to go. Like we said yesterday, do not be afraid to hear from God because you think He might just tell you to do something crazy. Read the rest of this entry
Know & Go
Acts 8:29 “The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and walk along beside the carriage.”
I got saved in 1995, and almost immediately I started telling people about Jesus. Then I came across a gathering I can best describe as occultic. So, I would wait outside their meeting place and as they finish and are coming out, I would preach to their children, the ones in college, Read the rest of this entry
