In Conflict

Gal.5:16 [NIV] “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.”

You will never build a walk with God, a marriage, a fit body, or a robust bank account by obeying the world’s law of instant gratification. I also struggled with wanting instant gratification with prayer and getting anointed. Read the rest of this entry

Above & Beyond

1 Kings 19:21 “So Elisha returned to his oxen and slaughtered them. He used the wood from the plough to build a fire to roast their flesh. He passed around the meat to the townspeople, and they all ate. Then he went with Elijah as his assistant.”

You need to pay particular attention to today’s Scripture reference. I encourage you to read 1 Kings 19. God tells us in His word “to be excellent, to stay positive!” I am aware that for some people, their boss is the one that has the bad attitude. Guess what? Read the rest of this entry

The Priority

Gal.6:14 “As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.” [with emphasis]

If you place anything in your life that you cannot take with you to heaven before The Cross, you are setting yourself up for destruction. Read the rest of this entry

Finished Work

Col.2:13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross[with emphasis].

Yesterday we talked about three kinds of boasts; man’s boast, God’s boast and satan’s boast. Today we will be learning the two ways of escaping satan’s boast. The first way is to not ever sin from the day you were born till the day you die. Read the rest of this entry

Israel

Heb.11:30 “It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls came crashing down.”

The seventh example of stepping up by faith is the Israelites. Heb.11:29It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.” In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as you take your steps of faith forward, every Egyptian that attempts to follow you will drown. Let Go & Let God!

Ps.32:8  “The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you”

You cannot step up while looking back. Phil.3:13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.Read the rest of this entry

Lifestyle Of Worship II

Seven times each day I stop and shout praises for the way you keep everything running right” Ps.119:164 [MSG]

How else does worship become a life style? It goes way beyond just Sunday meetings alone. So how else? Schedule a fixed time with God. If you want to develop a lifestyle of worship then fix a time that you will meet with God. You need to fix a time, just fix a time that you meet with God. Just fix the time! Some people are early morning people, fix a time in the morning. Some people are nocturnal people, fix a time Read the rest of this entry

Be Merciful

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven” Luke 6:37 [NIV]

Be merciful! God will not ask you to give to others what He has not first given you. As you have obtained mercy, God expects you to also give mercy. To whom much is given, much is expected. Jesus says that loving Him translates to obeying His commands. God’s command to you and I today is be merciful. Read the rest of this entry

Access Control II

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” James 4:7 [KJV].

This is just the beginning in your life. Imagine someone who chooses to stay on one side of the door, refuses to open the door or go in, and opts to peep through the keyhole? That person will see but can the person experience? No! Listen there are certain things in your life that you have to be willing to let go of. I declare again that this is just the beginning in your life. I heard Bishop T.D. Read the rest of this entry

“The Fruit” II

“Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’” Then the devil went away [NEUTRALIZED], and angels came and took care of Jesus” Matt.4:2 [added text in bold font].

Please read Matthew 4:2-11. Take note of these three things: “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” [Lust of the flesh];If you are the Son of God, jump off! [Pride of life]; and showed him all the kingdoms of the world [lust of the eyes]. Whenever you neutralize the devil Read the rest of this entry
