Link Hands

“Two people are better than one… An enemy might be able to defeat one person, but two people can stand back-to-back to defend each other. And three people are even stronger…” Ecc.4:9&12 [ERV]

God wants you to link hands with His children so that together we will become unstoppable. “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.”For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Matt18:19-20. The question is who are you praying with? If you are not praying with anybody right now, you have limited yourself. You have boxed yourself in a corner. Really, who are you praying with? I am not referring to the Prophets you are Read the rest of this entry

God’s Family

“How could one person chase a thousand of them, and two people put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, unless the LORD had given them up?” Deu.32:30

“Each one of you will put to flight a thousand of the enemy, for the LORD your God fights for you, just as he has promised” Josh.23:10. I am sure you will agree with me that if God stopped here it is beautiful by itself. One person putting to flight a thousand is not normal. But if we go by the natural law of synergy, two will put to flight maybe three thousand, definitely more than two thousand, perhaps even four thousand maximum. But God says, one will Read the rest of this entry

On Fire!

“Each one of you will put to flight a thousand of the enemy, for the LORD your God fights for you, just as he has promised” Josh.23:10 [emphasis added].

If you see someone that appears to be able to do more than what is normal or usual, it goes without saying that there is someone else helping that person. Imagine that by the time you wake up in the morning, your seven year old has washed your car, re-parked it facing forward, and left the engine running so the car will be cool by the time you get there. The first thought that would cross your mind would be that he did not do it alone. You will know that someone Read the rest of this entry

With Jesus

“Each one of you will put to flight a thousand of the enemy, for the LORD your God fights for you, just as he has promised” Josh.23:10 [emphasis added]

Concerted action is the key to synergy. You cannot have synergy without pulling together. Synergy is so key! So what is synergy? Synergy simply means, as far as human effort is concerned, one plus one will always be greater than two. You cannot have synergy without concerted action. God wants us to synergize, to pull together. God says to us, “go to the ants and learn…” He is not just saying go and learn diligence. Yes, there is diligence to be learnt from the ants but Read the rest of this entry

Two-gather

“Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction?” Amos 3:3

The Principle of Concerted Action simply states: Unify and bring all elements of your force to work together simultaneously in the achievement of your aims. Unify all the elements of your force and bring them together simultaneously. Bring your forces together and unify the coordination. Let things work in tandem with each other. You might be wondering how this can apply in your life. Well, ensure you come with a journal to Read the rest of this entry

Engage It

“This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare” 1 Tim.1:18 [NKJV]

What has God said to you this year? Keep it before you because if you do not engage the Word, you will not get the full benefit of that Word. The Word of God says that we should wage a good warfare with the prophecies that have been said over us [paraphrased]. So it is one thing to have a prophecy and it is another thing to engage the prophecy. And one of the key things to engaging the Word is thorough understanding of how that Word can be applied. Only One

“And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but are yourself lost or destroyed?” Lu.9:25

But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.”  But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details!  There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” Lu.10:40-42 Read the rest of this entry

Cut Off

“He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more” John 15:2

You cannot just be doing things because other people are doing it. That is the fastest route to killing yourself. As a church, in God’s Favourite House, there are so many things that we have put to sleep. One example is bulletins. The amount of work hours that goes into printing bulletins every week is a lot; content development, content gathering, proof reading, and the printing not to talk of the cost of the printing. So one day I met with my team and challenged the usefulness of the bulletins. Do people really read the bulletins? So we decided to do a little experiment, we would Read the rest of this entry

Just In Case?

“He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more” John 15:2

#4. Cut Off. In order to simplify my life, there are some things that I actually need to put to rest, some things I actually need to cut off, and some things I have to let go. Many of us have what is called the “pack rat” mentality. The “pack rat” mentality is, no matter how full your wardrobe is, you want to hold on to and keep stuff. Your house is over flowing but you are still holding on to things. If you ask them why they are holding on to these things, the Read the rest of this entry

Hands Off II

“And so, brothers, select seven men who are well respected and are full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will give them this responsibility. Then we apostles can spend our time in prayer and teaching the word” Acts 6:3-4

Find the things that ONLY YOU can do, then hands-off everything else! This is what I do. When my colleagues bring an issue to me, I send them back. Go and solve the problem and come to me with options, then we can take it from there. If I keep solving the problem for you, then I am doing your job for you. And I do not want to do that. I want to do what only I can do.
