Shake Off, Step Up!
“Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks for forgiveness, you must forgive”” Luke 17:4
“Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “But seventy times seven!” Matt.18:21-22. Yes, even the disciples had to deal with this. So Just like Jesus, I am saying forgive again. Remember the story from yesterday? The person actually solved the issue. The person said, when Read the rest of this entry

“God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy” Matt.5:7
Have you noticed that over the past few days I have been giving you a lot of scriptural references? It is because this is the Word of God and that is where you should be grounded. Open your mind to the Holy Spirit as you obediently read them. Taste and see…
Compassionately So
“Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick” Matt.14:14.
Jesus heals with compassion. Everything Jesus did, He did out of compassion. Jesus did not heal condescendingly; He healed out of compassion. If you want to operate the gift of healing, you must unlock your heart of compassion. You want to lay hands on the sick and they will recover? When someone is in pain, does it break your heart? Does their challenge move you to act on their Read the rest of this entry
Merciful God
“Is it against the law for me to do what I want with my money? Should you be jealous because I am kind to others?’” Matt.20:15 [emphasis added]
The crux of this story [Matt.20:1-15] is not how to arm twist God or for you to think that it’s best to get born again just before you die. It does not work. If you check that story, every one of them came into the Kingdom when the landowner called them. So the door of the Kingdom is open to you when God is calling you, not at your discretion. If you wait to get born again at your Read the rest of this entry
Always Fair
“He answered one of them, ‘Friend, I haven’t been unfair! Didn’t you agree to work all day for the usual wage?” Matt.20:13.
Jesus told this story [Matt.20:1-15] to depict Himself and His Kingdom. The story starts: Read the rest of this entry
Necessary vs. Convenient
“When this vision came to me, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three whole weeks. All that time I have eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed” Dan.10:2-3.
There are a lot of things that are necessary but not all of these things are convenient. The difference between the great man and the ordinary man is the great man does what is necessary and the ordinary man does what is convenient. The common man is about his convenience and he will resist everything that tries to pull him out of the Read the rest of this entry
Ask For Mercy
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks the door will be opened” Matt.7:7-8
The beautiful thing about Jesus is that He always responds to the humble’s cry for help. There is something about crying out to Jesus that unlocks the mercy of God. And you can check from scripture; everyone that cried out to Jesus, Jesus came to their aid. Everyone! Bartimaeus was blind, he shouted Jesus, thou Son of David, have Read the rest of this entry
Plans Of Good And Not Evil
“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life” John 10:10
I do not know what you have done but I have been sent to tell you that Jesus is merciful. Jesus is merciful. He is full of mercy and His mercy knows no bounds. Please read Matthew 20:1-15. Over the next few days, we will be learning about God’s boundless mercy from these scriptures. It is my prayer that as you faithfully read it, Read the rest of this entry
Love and Like
“I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. You didn’t choose me. I chose you…” John. 15:15-16.
“Now you are my friends”; you cannot be a friend of somebody you do not like. What creates friendship is the likeness. God does not need us but He likes us and that is simply amazing. The funny thing is that even though we need God, we do not always want Him. He does not need us yet He wants us. But even though we need Him Read the rest of this entry
Huge Difference
“What are mere mortals that you should think about them. human beings that you should care for them?” Ps. 8:4
Many people are around you today because they need you and not because they like you or want you. They are just there because they need you to do ‘xyz’ or give them ‘abc’ and that’s all. They need you to give them money, or connect them to someone. When they don’t need you anymore, what happens? In my few years of Pastoral Read the rest of this entry
