Huge Difference

“What are mere mortals that you should think about them. human beings that you should care for them?” Ps. 8:4

Many people are around you today because they need you and not because they like you or want you. They are just there because they need you to do ‘xyz’ or give them ‘abc’ and that’s all. They need you to give them money, or connect them to someone. When they don’t need you anymore, what happens? In my few years of Pastoral Read the rest of this entry

Implication II

“So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord, and His heart became impatient over the misery of Israel” Judg.10:16 [AMP]

Third Implication: Jesus is my Saviour means God rushes in to save me. God actually rushes to save you. He rushes to deliver you. He rushes to free you. Does He really? Yes He does. Read the rest of this entry

Implication I

“Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf” Heb.7:25.

First Implication: Jesus is my Saviour means my eternity is secure. When I die or when rapture comes, I know where I am going. I was reading on the Internet a while back, about how Google was investing heavily into a biotech company whose main objective is to eradicate death and reverse ageing. I read it and I smiled because when Read the rest of this entry

Little Or Much?

“But Jesus said to the woman, your faith has saved you; go (enter) into peace [in freedom from all the distress that are experienced as the result of sin]” Luke 7:50 [AMP]

Luke 7 records an amazing story of the woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears, wiped it with her hair, and anointed it with very expensive oil from her alabaster box. Everyone around Jesus at the time was indignant; they were wondering why she would be wasting that much resource on Jesus when people are hungry? Have you Read the rest of this entry

My Saviour

“May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation – the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ – for this will bring much glory and praise to God” Phil. 1:11

Yeshua, Jesus, came to save us from sin and everything that came as a result of sin. Sickness, devils, poverty, attacks; everything that came as a result of sin, Jesus came to save us from. This is why it is important to seek God, corporately and individually, and enforce everything Jesus has done for us. You will enforce it and it will stand, in Jesus Name. Read the rest of this entry

Sheep Or Goat?

“Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning…” 1Jn.3:7-8 [emphasis added].

God knew that there would be a lot of deception about this subject, which is why the Bible says, don’t let anyone deceive you about this… But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil. The key there is, keep on sinning. Do Christians sin? Of course they do; but they should not keep on sinning otherwise, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Every work of the devil in Read the rest of this entry

What’s Your Practice?

“And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins” Matt.1:21.

Salvation is all encompassing. Jesus paid the price for the salvation of your soul, the healing of your body, deliverance from oppressive spirits and depression, and deliverance from poverty. Jesus died for deliverance from poverty? Yes He did, and you need to know that. However, even though salvation is all encompassing, the truth Read the rest of this entry

Beyond Sin

“And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus (Yehoshua), for he will save (Yeshuah) his people from their sins.” Matt.1:21 [words in bracket are my additions]

“Yehoshua”, in other words Jehovah saves, Jehovah heals, Jehovah delivers, Jehovah is our salvation. You are to name him Yehoshua because He will [Yeshua] deliver, save His people from their sin. So the word Yeshua actually means salvation, deliverance, rescue, freedom, and restoration. It is an all-encompassing word for Read the rest of this entry

Enough With The Excuses!

“For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” 2 Cor.3: 17

The reason you are still battling with that sin which is keeping you bound, is the excuse you are giving. The more you excuse it, the more you are incapacitated by it. Academically, the reason you have not passed your examinations is because you are giving excuses. Who says nobody in your family ever succeeds in math? Read the rest of this entry

What Will It Be?

“So Elisha returned to his oxen and slaughtered them. He used the wood from the plow to build a fire to roast their flesh. He passed around the meat to the townspeople, and they all ate. Then he went with Elijah as his assistant” 1 Kings 19:21.

The third category of excuses is the pride of life – pride in our achievements and possessions. “Another said, ‘I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them outLuke 14:19. The question to you and I is, what exactly is your excuse? If you follow the story in Luke 14:15-24 [Please read], immediately the Master Read the rest of this entry
