Engage It

“This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare” 1 Tim.1:18 [NKJV]

What has God said to you this year? Keep it before you because if you do not engage the Word, you will not get the full benefit of that Word. The Word of God says that we should wage a good warfare with the prophecies that have been said over us [paraphrased]. So it is one thing to have a prophecy and it is another thing to engage the prophecy. And one of the key things to engaging the Word is thorough understanding of how that Word can be applied. God has great things for us so we must continue to press in to God.

Think on these things: the key in the Principle of the Objective is clarity; in the Principle of the Offensive it is dare to go forward [dare to make progress]; in the Principle of Mass it is concentrate your forces; in the Principle of Maneuver it is be flexible; in the Principle of Security it is cover your bases; in the Principle of Unity of Command it is one person in charge; in the Principle of Exploitation it is follow up and follow through [do not let any opportunity go]; in the Principle of the Economy it is preserve your resources; the Principle of Surprise it is do the unexpected; and the key in the Principle of Simplicity is take the direct approach [simplify your life].

“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst” Matt.18:19-20 [emphasis added]. One of the greatest life skills you can have is the ability to work harmoniously with other people. In fact, your ability to work in sync with people around you is one of the most important force multiplier. A force multiplier is something that multiplies your effort and makes it have a larger impact.

I can tell you several stories of military campaigns where a smaller coordinated force defeated a much larger uncoordinated force. So if you are “small” it is not a guarantee that you will lose. If you understand how to organize your forces, you will win. So a smaller military force working seamlessly with speed can, and most likely will, destroy a much larger and less uncoordinated force.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, please bring God’s Words and the things I have been taught to my remembrance each day so that it will produce fruit in my life, in Jesus Name.
