Heb.10:23Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise”.

The second Biblical example is from the life of Hannah. Hannah’s story was not just that she was married and childless, her husband was married to another woman that had children for him. So Hannah was childless in the midst of fruitfulness and was consistently ridiculed for it. The place of waiting comes with a certain level of pain that can greatly increase if the people around are not sensitive. But Hannah remained faithful to God. She could easily have focused on her pain and drifted away from God which is what a lot of people do. But I implore you to look at Hannah and draw strength from her. The Bible says all good things come from God. It does not matter what people have around you. The same God that has given that person, is able to give you. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what you can imagine because He is good and His mercy endures forever.  God is for you!

Hannah stayed faithful to God and her commitment to seeking God’s Presence did not change. Hannah went to Shiloh; Shiloh was God’s Presence – to make her sacrifices to God and present herself before God. Hannah did not internalize Peninnah’s mockery. She kept her eyes on God and worshipped God. For those who are trusting God for the fruit of the womb or for fruitfulness in whatever area, hold on to God. Irrespective of what other people around you are doing, or saying, or achieving, hold on to God because He will come through for you, in Jesus Name. He has changed your destiny for good.

Do not be discouraged by the achievements of your “peers”. You just stay faithful to God and He will come through for you, in Jesus Name. Remember the story of Jabez [1 Chro.4:10 please read], the Bible says God answered. God will answer you, in Jesus Name. Hannah took all her pain and longing to God. I pray that every pain and longing that comes your way, you will take to God. Hannah took that pain to God and God changed her destiny. And through Eli, God spoke and said her prayers had been answered. In Jesus Name, every pain you have brought into God’s Presence today has been resolved. Only believe!

Prayer: Ps.27:13Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living”, in Jesus Name. Amen!
