Be Aware IV

‘Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you’ Luke 10:19.

Fifthly, you must know that you as a child of God you have power over satan and his demons. You must know that you have power as a child of God; which is why the qualification is a child of God. If you are not a child of God well I pray that you become one today because this life is too dangerous. We have all sorts of terrible things happening, you need God on your side. ‘Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you’ Luke 10:19 [KJV]. But if you are not a child of God then you are exposed to the devices and plots of the enemy. If you are not a child of God you are in danger. How can a ram who has been tied for the slaughter be rejoicing that it is being fed and its needs are met? It is only being fed fat for the slaughter. I pray that you will release your life to Jesus today. These are the key things that you have to know about satan and demons.

So where did satan come from? Basically, satan was not satan from the beginning. He was created as an archangel of God. Read Isaiah14:12-15; Revelations 12:7-9 and Ezekiel 28:12-17. He rebelled against God. ‘For you said to yourself, ‘I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars. I will preside on the mountain of the gods far away in the north. I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High’ Isa.14:13-14.  That is pride – ‘I’. Honestly, you need to check yourself, the statements that you make, or the communication you send out. If you are always saying ‘I will’, it is not necessarily because there is something wrong but perhaps there is some pride in there. No one can do anything except by God’s grace. That’s why James says don’t say I will do this tomorrow, instead say by the grace of God, if God permits, and if God wills then I will. So satan was an angel that was driven from heaven, a third of the angels followed him and those angels are his demons in different manifestations –principalities, powers, all sorts – they are fallen angels.

Prayer: Father, I thank You because Your Word says about me that I have the authority over all the power of the enemy and nothing will injure  me, instead I will crush them all, in Jesus Name.
