Come Flourishing!
1 Cor.15:42-43 “…Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.” (emphasis added).
I can imagine the scene; Jesus was taken to the cross and the disciples were thinking, “He told us last night that He would be alive, and we will come alive.” Instead, they saw Jesus crucified on the cross. Matt.27:46 “At about three o’clock, Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”
Jesus became sin so that we can become the righteousness of God. Jesus became sin so that we can be forgiven. Jesus was forsaken so that we can be accepted. For Love Sake
Rom. 5:8 (AMP) “But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
God wants you to be His friend. He is not interested in religion. God wants a relationship with you. Do you know why you are here right now and not six feet under? Do you know why you are not in other horrible places that you could possibly be in today? Read the rest of this entry
God-Assured
Rom.15:13 “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Clarity
John 8:12 “I am the Light of the world. So if you follow me, you won’t be stumbling through the darkness, for living light will flood your path.” (TLB, emphasis added).
What happens when Jesus gives me a fresh start? When Jesus gives me a fresh start, I get three things. The first thing I get is, New Clarity About Life. I start to see life differently, to see other people differently, and to see God differently. Read the rest of this entry
