Time & Effort

Arise!

Obey
James 1:22 “But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves… 25 But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says… then God will bless you for doing it.”

Pay Attention
Deut.11:22 “Be careful to obey all these commands I am giving you. Show love to the Lord your God by walking in his ways and holding tightly to him.”

Up There!

God is calling you to come up so that you can hear what He is hearing. There are things that you need to hear that cannot be heard from down there. There are things that can only be heard from up there. Read the rest of this entry

No matter how high you are, no matter what level you are in God, there is always a higher level in God. Some people claim to be on the mountain consistently or have all the spiritual inoculations and so they do not need to engage in spiritual practices to go up higher. Read the rest of this entry

Relationships: You are the average of the three people that you spend the most time with. If you spend most of your time with people that are not going anywhere, guess what? Over time you will be the third person that is not going anywhere. Read the rest of this entry
Come Up Here

God wants us to step up spiritually. The first thing and a major key to stepping up spiritually that stands out from today’s Scripture reference is “…the same voice I had heard before spoke to me…” This points to the fact that there has to be an existing relationship before you can begin to step up spiritually. Whose Are You?
Ps.100:3 [ERV] “Know that the Lord is God. He made us, and we belong to him. We are his people, the sheep he takes care of.”
You are young only once but you can remain immature for life. Even spiritually, you are young only once. Sadly, there are people that are thirty years old spiritually but immature. Meanwhile, some people, barely two years after getting saved, reach maturity. Read the rest of this entry
