Clear And Simple
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Prov.29:18 [KJV]
The principle of The Objective states thus: “Direct all efforts towards a clearly defined, decisive & attainable objective.” Three key things jump out immediately from this definition. Direct all efforts towards a Clearly Defined, Decisive and Attainable objective.
#3. Clearly Defined: Make the objective clear and simple. In Joshua 6:3-5, God was clear, “March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the Ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, every one straight in” [NIV]. Clearly defined! Strive for clarity. When I heard the Read the rest of this entry

“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” Josh.1:8 [NIV, emphasis added].

All Efforts
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Prov.29:18 [KJV]
In military strategy, the principle of The Objective states thus: “Direct all efforts towards a clearly defined, decisive & attainable objective.” Three key things jump out immediately from this definition. Direct all efforts towards a Clearly Defined, Decisive and Attainable objective. So we are going to spend some time on those three things.
Picture It
“If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves” Prov.29:18 [MSG, emphasis added]
In the Book of Joshua, chapter six [please read] is the story of Israel. God had given them a clear objective to take Jericho. God said you and your fighting men should march round the city once a day for six days. On the seventh day you are to march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the horns. When you hear the priests give one long blast on the ram’s horns, have all the people shout as loud as they can. Heaven will hear, the angels will be Read the rest of this entry
Have A Plan
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Prov.29:18 [KJV]
We will be learning a lot from historical warfare and tying them to Scripture. About 331 BC, there was a king called Darius The Third; he was in charge of Persia. And there was a young Macedonian general called Alexandra the Great. Alexandra was just twenty-five years old and he many conquered territories. But God has a sense of humor. Alexandra conquered territories but got to India and died of malaria on his way back. An ordinary mosquito! I fear Read the rest of this entry
The Objective
“Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint” Prov.29:18 [ESV, emphasis added]
I am a student of military campaigns and warfare in history. The study of great military campaigns has revealed universal principles crucial for every battlefield victory. Guess what? These principles are rooted in the Bible. These great generals throughout history actually learned the principles of war from the Bible and there are twelve of them. God has a lot to teach us about how to effect total victory in our lives through these principles. It does not matter whether you are a business person, an entrepreneur, a solopreneur, a freelancer, a professional, or a stay-at-home Read the rest of this entry
Deliberate Action
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Prov.29:18 [KJV]
Life is a battle. You do not need to spend long on earth to discover that life is a battle. From birth the baby had to breakthrough; it comes into a strange world. The first thing that comes out of the baby’s mouth is a cry. And the battle never stops; the last victory or defeat will be with death. For those of us that are saved, it is a victory already because death where is your sting. But until that last battle, the struggle continues. Like any military commander, spectacular success depends on your ability to think and act strategically. You are the general of your life. You call Read the rest of this entry
H.A.L.T!
“Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out… But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me… you will not bring this community into the land I give them” Num.20:11-12 [NIV]
#3. Decisions! Decisions!! Decisions!!! This is one thing I can hear in my spirit consistently. Your decisions, they say, determine your destiny. It is not the devil; it is your decisions that determine your destiny. The turn you take or you do not take. Your decisions will either hasten or halt your destiny. So watch out for what I call the destiny H.A.L.T signs. Do not make impulsive decisions when you see a halt sign so as not to halt your destiny. What is a halt sign and how do we recognize a halt sign?
R.E.P. God
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to breaking of bread and to prayer… All the believers were together and had everything in common” Acts 2:42 & 44 [NIV]
#2: Your personal relationship with Jesus is key. This is the second derivative of Victory. Do not move without the Holy Spirit. Has God sent you on that journey? If not, then do not do it. Do not just do things because you can. I am passionate about seeing people grow spiritually so much that my first book ever, New Creation Reality, is about spiritual growth. I have crystalized spiritual growth into three words and to help you remember these three things is the acronym– R.E.P. For you to grow spiritually, the first thing you have to pay attention to is your Read the rest of this entry
Take Note IV
“Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power… so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel…” John 13:3-5[NIV]
Today we start with the story of a professor in the United States, probably a philosophy professor. One day, at the end of his class with the auditorium still filled with students, he said there is no God. And he put forward a challenge. He said if there is God let Him knock me off this stage in five minutes. Everywhere went quiet, and then he began to look at his watch and mock God. Interestingly a three hundred pound [about 130kg] American football player heard the professor while he was waiting in the corridor for his friend that was in the class. And after a while the football player ran into the auditorium, carried the professor and slammed him on the ground. The professor was furious and Read the rest of this entry
