On Purpose

The Assembly
1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” (KJV)
We will pick up today’s devotional from our final thought yesterday. Jesus said in Matthew 16:18 “…upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.” The word “church” here is the word “Ecclesia”, and not “church” as derived from the German word “Kirche”. “Ecclesia” is the gathering of God’s people. Romans 13:8 “Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbour, you will fulfil the requirements of God’s law.”
So far we have looked at five of the seven things we need to do to experience metamorphosis in our spiritual health. LOVE JESUS Supremely. MEET WITH HIM Daily. STUDY And DO God’s Word.
