Newness

Genesis 13:14-15 “After Lot had gone, the Lord said to Abram, “Look as far as you can see in every direction—north and south, east and west. I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession.”

From God

Isa. 43:19 “For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

John the Baptist know who he was. There is nothing as good as being comfortable in your skin. There will be only one Messiah and His Name is Jesus. The fact that your son is not the Messiah does not mean he will not fulfil His destiny. Read the rest of this entry

Taste Test

Ps. 119:103 “How sweet your words taste to me; they are sweeter than honey.”

When people encounter you, what taste does it leave in their mouths? Bitter, sweet, or bland? God wants people to encounter us as His children and have an unforgettably sweet taste, a sweetness that they cannot shake off. Remember our illustration from yesterday’s devotional? Overflow

Rom. 9:15 “For God said to Moses, “I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.”

Please read Matt.20:30-33; These blind beggars did not have a functional life. Jesus probably played their entire life right there and then. They had no money, no work, Read the rest of this entry
