Seek Him
“You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me! I will let you find me,” says the Lord…” Jer.29:13-14 [NCV]
Zacchaeus did two things right. The first was that he realized that he needed God. And the second was Zacchaeus went seeking Jesus. You cannot just sit down in your spot; you need to make the move. Seek and you will find. Read the Bible, talk with Christians, fellowship, read books, and listen to the messages – just seek Jesus! I have paraphrased today’s Scripture reference to read, Read the rest of this entry
Responsibility Of Favour III
“The angel said, ‘Look up, and you will see that only the streaked, speckled, and spotted males are mating with the females of your flock. For I have seen how Laban has treated you” Gen.31:12
Access to the supernatural is so important. I can give you several examples of how access to the supernatural made the difference between where I was and my next level. I prophesy to you today that you will not go through this life blind but you will see as you ought to see and you will hear, as you ought to hear in Jesus Name.
Responsibility Of Favour II
“So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “You’re the man for us. God has given you the inside story—no one is as qualified as you in experience and wisdom. From now on, you’re in charge of my affairs; all my people will report to you. Only as king will I be over you.” Gen.41:39-40 [MSG]
To whom much is given, much is expected. I have seen Christians even Pastors doing so many things and getting away with it. Things I know I cannot try because my Father will seriously chastise me. When I was young I struggled seriously with this and would give God examples of all the people who are doing the same thing I was Read the rest of this entry
Responsibility Of Favour I
“But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much ill be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required” Luke 12:48
Many times we attribute a lot to ourselves that we have no business attributing. You are the apple of God’s eye, how He regards and responds to the apple of His eye has nothing to do with whether you prayed for two hours or didn’t do your quiet time. Again, do not get me wrong, we should pray and pray we must. Devout yourself to Read the rest of this entry
Covenant Carrier III
“…I took you from tending sheep in the pasture and selected you to be the leader of my people Israel. I have been with you wherever you have gone… Now I will make your name as famous as anyone who has ever lived on the earth! 2 Sam.7:8-9
Did God take permission from anyone before He elevated David and established his throne forever? God does not need anyone’s permission to bless you. Whether they like it or not, you are going be blessed. Some people will call you proud but it is okay because that is usually what happens when you are confident in the Covenant. When Read the rest of this entry
Watch Your Response
“Hearing this, a man sitting at the table with Jesus exclaimed, “What a blessing it will be to attend a banquet in the Kingdom of God!” Luke 14:15
Jesus is calling you! While growing up when someone comes to you and says your father is calling you, an emotion goes through your heart. A different emotion registers for each parent depending on your family. And for some the emotion crosses from the heart, runs down the spine and the knees begin to shake. And the Read the rest of this entry
Favour isn’t Fair
“When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, ‘At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger! I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you” Luke 15:17-18.
Jesus was walking down the road, a whole lot of people were following Him and He got to a place looked up and said, “Zaccheus, today I’m going to eat lunch in your house”. Excuse me! What about those of us who have been following you for ten hours? Is that fair? Zaccheus, a sinner – it is not fair. A young rich man came to Read the rest of this entry
Pleasing Word
‘Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest’ Matt.11:28 [KJV].
God is going to say to some one today and even before the year ends, ask anything that you want. God is going to give a blank cheque. ‘In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee’ 1kings 3:5. I pray that God will open your eyes to that thing that you will do that God will say to you, what do you want? There is nothing like getting to the place where God says to you ‘tell Me Read the rest of this entry
Has He Promised?
‘Look! He has placed the land in front of you. Go and occupy it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you. Don’t be afraid! Don’t be discouraged!’ Deut.1:21
The third important reminder as we progress in the year 2014 is that the land is still before you, go and possess it. Some people have possessed the land they were looking unto God for – praise God! But there are still a number of people who are still waiting on God for their Promised Land. You need to know Read the rest of this entry
Beloved Not Bastard
‘…Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all’ Heb.12:7-8.
When God has chosen to favour you, expect a certain level of responsibility. It simply means that what others do and get away with, you cannot do and get away with the same thing. I know Pastors that do certain things and they go away with it but if I try it I’m dead, as in literally dead. I realize that the reason that life is not for me is because God has said, “I have chosen to favour you”. I can show you my scars – “rod and the staff”. Everyone that is favoured of Read the rest of this entry
