Idea & Model

Malachi 2:16 “‘I hate divorce,’ says the Lord. “To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife.” (emphasis added).

 

God says to divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty. God speaking to the man, says do not divorce your wife. Did you notice that God did not even say do not divorce your husband? He did not speak to the woman because it is unheard of in God’s design. Read the rest of this entry

Request Granted!

1 Chronicles 4:10 “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” (KJV).

 

Jesus teaches us how to pray in Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil…” (KJV).It is valid to pray that God will deliver you from evil.

Beyond The Kiss

Ruth 1:8-9 “But on the way, Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, “Go back to your mothers’ homes. And may the Lord reward you for your kindness to your husbands and to me. May the Lord bless you with the security of another marriage.” Then she kissed them good-bye…”

Beginning today, we will be zooming in on the story of Naomi and Ruth. God’s Word for us will take us to the more He has made us for in all the areas of our lives. We are made for more, and God is showing us how to walk in it.

Action Time!

Judges 7:6 Only 300 of the men drank from their hands. All the others got down on their knees and drank with their mouths in the stream.” (emphasis added).

 

Gideon’s army was reduced from thirty-two thousand “strong” to three hundred. If God reduced it from thirty-two thousand to sixteen thousand, fifty percent reduction, even that is a lot for a leader (for anybody”. But God did not do a fifty percent reduction.
