For Your Good

Ps.139:3You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.”

God has given you this commandment so that it will be well with you and with your children. It is love to teach this commandment to your children, because it will do them good. The reality is that we are not doing our parents a favour by honouring them.

Love Truly

Rom.8:31 “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?”

A kidnapper says, “You are mine” on the basis of power. A lover says, “You are mine” on the basis of affection. You may submit to raw power but you will never love raw power. When a servant hears, “You are mine”, do you know it creates a different set of emotions than when a child hears, “You are mine?” What goes through the servant’s mind when he hears, “You are mine” is probably, ‘one day I will get my freedom and I too will become a master.’ But the child will also say to the father or mother, “You are my daddy or Mummy!” The emotions and the responses are always different based on the relationship. Realignment

Prov.14:23 (GN) “Work and you will earn a living, if you sit around talking you will be poor.”

Work is God’s idea and He wants you to work regardless of how much wealth you have already acquired. There are people that have so much wealth that even if they do not work for the rest of their lives, they will not lack. Read the rest of this entry

Voice Trigger

Num.24:9 “Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to arouse her? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, O Israel, and cursed is everyone who curses you.” [with emphasis]

“Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to arouse her?” What this Scripture means is that there will be consequences for anyone that tries you. Beginning from today, anybody that tries you will face the full consequences. Read the rest of this entry

Israel

Heb.11:30 “It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls came crashing down.”

The seventh example of stepping up by faith is the Israelites. Heb.11:29It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.” In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as you take your steps of faith forward, every Egyptian that attempts to follow you will drown. Superior Intelligence

Heb.11:9 And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise.”

Too many people benchmark God’s will with ease but the proof of God’s will is peace and not ease. God’s Word does not say it will always be easy. God’s Word says it will always be peaceful. When everyone else is in pain or confused, you may be in a tent but you will have so much peace. Read the rest of this entry

By Faith!

Heb.11:8 “It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going” [with emphasis].

The fifth example of stepping up by faith is Abraham. Most times, God would not show you the total picture, God would not fully tell you how or where. People often come to me asking to know what will happen next in their journey with God. Read the rest of this entry

To You

Gen.18: 14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” 15 Sarah was afraid, so she denied it, saying, “I didn’t laugh.” But the Lord said, “No, you did laugh.”

God spoke directly to Sarah and she believed. Heb.11:11 “It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise [with emphasis]. Read the rest of this entry

Sarah Believed?

Heb.11:11 “It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise” [with emphasis].

The Bible says that though Sarah was barren and she was too old, she believed that God was able to keep His promise. In other words, Sarah had the odds stacked up against her, she had enough evidence to doubt God but Sarah chose to believe God still. Read the rest of this entry

Faith It!

Mark 12:43-44 (MSG) “ Jesus called his disciples over and said, “The truth is that this poor widow gave more to the collection than all the others put together. All the others gave what they’ll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she couldn’t afford—she gave her all.”
