Be Free!
“And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity” Luke 13:10-11 [KJV]
The woman could not lift herself because of a spirit of infirmity and the scripture says satan bound her. Today you will be loosed and you will loosen things because God says whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in the heaven. So in anyway satan has bound you and you can in no way raise yourself up, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, be loosed! It could be spiritually; some people are bound Read the rest of this entry
True Miracle
“Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!” Matt.10:7-8 [emphasis added]
A miracle is something that would never have happened if God had not intervened. A miracle reverses or suspends the natural flow of things. Systems are governed by laws such as the law of surface tension that permits a mosquito to stand on water but not a human being. But Jesus suspended that law when He walked on water Read the rest of this entry
Understanding Mercy And Grace
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John1:14 [KJV]
As a child, when you know that your father is merciful you would not see the need to hide anything from him. Similarly, when you take God as your Father, your Merciful Father you will run to Him especially when you need mercy most. However, unlike our earthly fathers, God already knows everything we Read the rest of this entry
Two Are Better!
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most” Heb.4:16 [emphasis added]
The Word of God says Jesus lives forever to make intersession for us. “So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most” Heb.4:14 -16 [emphasis added]. Read the rest of this entry
Spiritual Influence
“…I, Daniel, learned from reading the word of the Lord… that Jerusalem must lie desolate for seventy years. So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and fasting. I also wore rough burlap and sprinkled myself with ashes. Dan.9:2-3
I am praying that you will have influence with God. God was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah and Abraham knew that it is not enough to hear from heaven, you must be willing and able to engage. And he engaged the Maker of the heavens and the earth. Abraham says do not be upset O God, if you find fifty people in the land will you still destroy the Land? God says for fifty I will not Read the rest of this entry
Transferred
“Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault” Col.1:22 [emphasis added]
You are holy! Say it aloud, I am holy. Some people cannot even say it because they struggle with it. Do not struggle with it. Perhaps you are not yet holy but you will be today, in Jesus Name. You are holy and blameless! As you stand before Him, you stand without a single fault. This truth is just so mind blowing. But the mind says, see who you used to be, see what you Read the rest of this entry
Always Fair
“He answered one of them, ‘Friend, I haven’t been unfair! Didn’t you agree to work all day for the usual wage?” Matt.20:13.
Jesus told this story [Matt.20:1-15] to depict Himself and His Kingdom. The story starts: Read the rest of this entry
Little Or Much?
“But Jesus said to the woman, your faith has saved you; go (enter) into peace [in freedom from all the distress that are experienced as the result of sin]” Luke 7:50 [AMP]
Luke 7 records an amazing story of the woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears, wiped it with her hair, and anointed it with very expensive oil from her alabaster box. Everyone around Jesus at the time was indignant; they were wondering why she would be wasting that much resource on Jesus when people are hungry? Have you Read the rest of this entry
For The Father
“The older brother became angry and refused to go in… ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends” Luke 15:28-29 [NIV].
The older son couldn’t understand the party so he became angry and refused to go in. “ But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!” Luke 15:30 [NIV]. The older son felt cheated; why did you kill the fattened cow ‘for him’? Do you know how long it took us to feed that cow fat? To understand the reason for the party, you need to look Read the rest of this entry
Truth Revealed
“His father said to him, ‘Look, dear son, you have always stayed by me, and everything I have is yours. We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!” Luke 15:31-32.
You need to understand the truth shown to the older son, “His father said to him, ‘Look, dear son, you have always stayed by me, and everything I have is yours” Luke 15:31. What the father was saying in essence is that, everything I have even the fattened cow that was killed is yours. In other words, your brother pretty much Read the rest of this entry
