Psa. 92:1 (KJV) “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High: 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night”

Acknowledge Him
1 Thess.5:18 “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus” [with emphasis].
The root word for “be thankful” or “give thanks” in this scripture, means gratitude, appreciation, praise, and recognition. God is saying, be grateful, show appreciation, give praise, show acknowledgment, and recognition in all things and not for all things. Read the rest of this entry

Matt.5: 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.”
Someone sent this email to his pastor: “Dear pastor, I am so tired of going through the motions. I am fed up with business as usual. Nothing really excites me or energizes me anymore.
In Not For
Col.2:7 “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness” [with emphasis].
A lot of people are attractive from a distance but when you get close enough, they are repulsive. Have you met people that look beautiful on the outside but when you experience them, their character is foul and the fruit of their lives is unsavoury. Read the rest of this entry
Take Root

Truth vs. Error
Lu.10:26 Jesus replied, “What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?” 27 The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’” [with emphasis]

Relax!
Psa.116:7 (VOICE) “O my soul! Return and relax. Come to your true rest, for the Eternal has showered you with His favor.”
I can confidently tell you that God loves me. God does not love me because I preach a good sermon or because someone gives his or her life to Jesus. Yes, He is happy but that is not the reason why He loves me. I know this truth like I know my name –it is engraved into every fibre of my being. So, I do not have or feel any pressure! Faith It!
Mark 12:43-44 (MSG) “ Jesus called his disciples over and said, “The truth is that this poor widow gave more to the collection than all the others put together. All the others gave what they’ll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she couldn’t afford—she gave her all.”
To Step Up financially, you need to Earn Some, Spend Less, Save More, No Loss, Invest More, Give More and finally, Faith It. For you to Step Up financially, you have to faith it and not fake it. Faith is giving what you do not have. Read the rest of this entry
Watch Out!
Eccl.11:6 “Plant early in the morning, and work until evening because you don’t know if this or that will succeed. They might both do well.”
As you step out in obedience and Earn Some, there are three things that you need to pay attention to and watch out for. The first thing you have to watch out for is Greed.
