Tetelestai!

Hebrews 12:2 “Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever…” (MSG)

Jesus surrendered His life for you and I! He gave His life for you and me, He voluntarily gave up His spirit. You do not give up what is taken from you. If something is taken from you forcefully by lies, coercion, or manipulation. But none of those made Jesus give up His life. Read the rest of this entry

Three Things

John 19:28&30 “Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.” …When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (emphasis added).

Three things stand out from this scripture. Number one is Jesus said, “It is finished!”. Jesus did not say I am finished. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, everyone that says you are finished will be in for a shocker because you are just about to begin. Amen! Jesus Christ finished so that you can finish. To Finish

Matthew 11:29 “Put My yoke upon your shoulders—it might appear heavy at first, but it is perfectly fitted to your curves. Learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. When you are yoked to Me, your weary souls will find rest.” (Voice)

As we come into God’s presence today, I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that God will breathe His life upon us, teach us His Word, and change our lives for the glory of His Name. Do you ever feel like you cannot get enough done in a day or with your life? Read the rest of this entry

At The Centre

2 Corinthians 6:1 “In our work together with God, then, we beg you who have received God’s grace NOT TO LET IT BE WASTED” (GNT, emphasis added).

God wants us to centre our lives around Him (worship), learn to love His family (fellowship), cultivate spiritual maturity (discipleship), contribute something back (ministry), and tell others about His love. 2 Corinthians 5:18&20 “…Through Christ, God made peace between us and himself,  Read the rest of this entry

In His Love

Romans 8:38-39 “None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love…” (MSG)

The child of God cannot be shaken because the Throne of God cannot be shaken. The child of God was born of the Word of God, and He belongs to the Church of God. The child of God cannot be shaken. You can imprison him; he can go through challenges in life, but the child of God is secure. Read the rest of this entry

Secure

John 14:20 “When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”

Our response to the fact that the throne of God is unshakable is to come boldly to the throne of God. If everything around you is shaking, if everything appears to be giving way, come boldly to the throne that cannot be shaken. Read the rest of this entry

Bridegroom

Matthew 16:18 “Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.”

Four things that cannot be shaken. Number one is the Throne of God. Number two is the Word of God. Number three is the Church of Jesus Christ. All the storms, gimmicks, and attacks of hell will not conquer the Church of Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus is unmovable. It cannot be shaken. Read the rest of this entry

Source Principle

Psalm 43:4 “There I will go to the altar of God, to God—the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God!”

How do I trust God to meet my needs? This is a legitimate question, particularly at this time when the world is going through huge challenges and still recovering from the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic. Different economic challenges have followed due to the pandemic, Read the rest of this entry

Not Alone

2 Corinthians 4:15 “For all [these] things are [taking place] for your sake, so that the more grace (divine favour and spiritual blessing) extends to more and more people and multiplies through the many, the more thanksgiving may increase [and redound] to the glory of God.” (AMPC)

2 Corinthians 11:24-28Five different times the Jewish leaders gave me thirty-nine lashes. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I spent a whole night and a day adrift at sea. I have travelled on many long journeys. I have faced danger from rivers and from robbers. I have faced danger from my own people, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have faced danger in the cities, in the deserts, and on the seas. And I have faced danger from men who claim to be believers but are not. I have worked hard and long, enduring many sleepless nights. I have been hungry and thirsty and have often gone without food. I have shivered in the cold, without enough clothing to keep me warm. Then, besides all this, I have the daily burden of my concern for all the churches.” Read the rest of this entry

His Story

2 Corinthians 4:5 “Our message is NOT about ourselves. It is about Jesus Christ as the Lord. We are merely your servants for Jesus’ sake.” (GW, emphasis added)

How do I defeat discouragement? Paul’s first secret is Never Forget How Much God Loves You. Paul’s second secret is Do Not Fake It. Paul’s third secret is Remember It Is Not About You. This is huge. Read the rest of this entry
