Let Go!

John 3:27 “John answered, A man can receive nothing [he can claim nothing, he can take unto himself nothing] except as it has been granted to him from heaven. [A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him from heaven; there is no other source.]” (AMPC)

Jesus says in Luke 9:23 “…If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” You have to take self-righteousness, self-confidence, self-deception, self-centeredness, self-hatred, and nail it to the cross. Read the rest of this entry

Tenderness

Matt.5:44 (KJV) “…Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you…” [with emphasis].

By Faith

Die Daily

Gal.6:14 “As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.”

Two things from yesterday’s devotional that we must not forget are;

“SELF”

Matt.26:39  (VOICE) “He walked a little farther and finally fell prostrate and prayed. Jesus: Father, this is the last thing I want. If there is any way, please take this bitter cup from Me. Not My will, but Yours be done” [with emphasis]
