Yes And No
Gen.37:10 “This time he told the dream to his father as well as to his brothers, but his father scolded him. “What kind of dream is that?” he asked. “Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow to the ground before you?”
Over the past few days, we have learned that Mary was an executionist and she had power with God. Mary used her power with God to change and influence things for others. We have seen from the example of Mary that when you have power with God, you can change things. Read the rest of this entry
Manoeuvre
Ps.18:31-32 &34 “For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow.”
Yesterday, we said the third thing about opportunities is, You Must Stay Flexible To Be Ready. Staying flexible is possible when we keep in step with the Holy Spirit (Gal.5:25). Read the rest of this entry
Be Flexible
Ps.145:8-9 “The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.”
Typically, when I am heading in a direction, I am laser-focused and I do not even want to stop. My wife can attest to this. One thing I do not like ever is, if you want me to get you something when I go out, Read the rest of this entry
Phases
“Now to the God who can do so many awe-inspiring things, immeasurable things, things greater than we ever could ask or imagine through the power at work in us” Eph.3:20 [Voice, emphasis added]
Intention is key in any relationship. It is more important to know the intention of a gift than to receive the gift. Which is why I often say to ladies, what are the intentions of the gentleman that keeps buying you gifts? There is no such thing as he is just kind hearted; find out his intentions. Am I saying a man cannot just have good intentions? There is no free lunch in Freetown, they say. Am I saying people cannot give you gifts out of a good heart? My question is, can a man Read the rest of this entry
Advantage vs. Victory
“In the same way, I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born.” The Lord says this: “I promise that if I cause you the pain of birth, I will not stop you from having your new nation.” Your God said this” Isa.66:9 [ERV]
The Principle of Maneuver can give you an advantage; it puts your opponent at the disadvantage. While the principle of maneuver can give you an advantage, never forget that an advantage is not victory. You can maneuver and get an advantage but never forget that an advantage is not victory. Every chess player understands this. Taking your opponents queen will give you an advantage. But most people who take the opponents queen early, usually lose because of the false sense that you are in charge. Meanwhile, the other player knows he or she has to fight to win. Admit and Maneuver
“So approximately 3,000 warriors were sent, but they were soundly defeated… Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid or discouraged. Take all your fighting men and attack Ai, for I have given you the king of Ai, his people, his town, and his land” Josh.7:4 & 8:1
There are some maneuvers you make and seeds you sow in the spirit that rings on generationally; so be flexible. Be open and one of the keys to being open is, you must admit that you can be wrong. I thought… but I was wrong. Always be open to the possibility that you may be wrong. It will save your life and save you from praying unnecessary prayers. Read Joshua 7 & 8.
Napoleon the Great made the mistake of not being open to the possibility of being wrong. He was a master of offense Read the rest of this entry
Maneuver
“Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life” John 3:6
George Washington, one of the ex-presidents of the United States of America, was the one that led the campaign that broke the back of the British hold on America. It was successful because he deployed the Principle of Maneuver. Up until this time, he had lost all his battles. George Washington was trained in continental warfare. Continental warfare has a lot to do with structure and order. He approached the battle against the British forces using his Read the rest of this entry
