The Place
Ps.5:1-3 “O Lord, hear me as I pray; pay attention to my groaning. Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for I pray to no one but you. Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.”
Prayer is the place of admitting our need. Prayer is the place of adopting humility. Prayer is the place of claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the practice of God’s presence. Jesus said to His disciples, “when you pray say, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name….” Read the rest of this entry

Persistent Promise
Psalm 89:1-2 (NRSV) “I will sing of your steadfast love, O Lord, forever; with my mouth I will proclaim your faithfulness to all generations. I declare that your steadfast love is established forever; your faithfulness is as firm as the heavens.”
My prayer for you this year is that God will do that which eyes have not seen, that which ears have not heard, and that which has not even begun to enter the hearts of men. And that the Name of Jesus alone will be glorified in your life, in Jesus Mighty Name. Read the rest of this entry
Confident Petition
Gen.32:24-26 “…Jacob was all alone in the camp, and a man came and wrestled with him until the dawn began to break. When the man saw that he would not win the match… the man said, “Let me go, for the dawn is breaking!” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Face It
Luke 11:10 (TPT) “Every persistent person will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he needs. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.
We see in this passage of scripture how Jesus defines faith. Jesus defines faith as knocking on a door and staying there until the door opens. In fact, it is a lack of faith to knock on a door and back off. Read the rest of this entry
