Jesus Alone

Jude 1:24 “Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.” (emphasis added).

Matt.12:11-12 “Jesus said, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a PIT on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a man than a sheep!” (NIV, emphasis added).

How do the five major world views [religions] respond if one falls into a dip pit? Yesterday, we looked at three responses. Buddha says, it is your karma. Rock vs. Sand

Luke 6:48 [NKJV] “He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.”

There are Forty-two references to God as the Rock in the Bible; the Rock of ages, the Rock of our salvation, the Rock of defense, the Rock of offence, and so on. Read the rest of this entry
