Ex.23:30 [Voice] “Rather, I will drive them out a little at a time—a few here, a few there—until your numbers grow and you are strong enough to take over the land and its care.”

Pure Joy II
James 1:2 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance” [with emphasis].
It appears that man’s perception of joy is very different from God’s reality. Yesterday, we learnt that there is joy and there is pure joy. God says we should consider it pure joy when we face trials of different kinds. And that does not really line up with our idea of what happiness is. Read the rest of this entry
Pure Joy I
Ps. 16:11 (VOICE) “Instead, You direct me on the path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment.”
The joy that is in the Kingdom is in the Holy Spirit and in walking with God. It is as we get into God and into our relationship with Him that we get into His life and experience His joy. The Holy Spirit
Rom. 14:17 (KJV) “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost”.
This Scripture gives us a clue into the source of joy. There are people that cannot get excited unless they take a substance. But after the substance wears out, they are back to being sober and sorrowful. But you and I have the Holy Ghost constantly with us so we are on a constant high. Read the rest of this entry

Isa. 55:12 (NKJV) “For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands”

Philip. 4:4 (NKJV) “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” [with emphasis]
God empowers us to be joyful and He expects us to be joyful. I am trusting God that everything that is leaking your joy will be exposed and evicted out of your life, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
