The Source

No Equal
Isa.40: 25 “To whom will you compare me? Who is my equal?” asks the Holy One. 26 Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army… Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing.

Who’s Throne?
Philip. 4:6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”

The Ten II
Rom.6:16 (ERV) “Surely you know that you become the slaves of whatever you give yourselves to. Anything or anyone you follow will be your master. You can follow sin, or you can obey God. Following sin brings spiritual death, but obeying God makes you right with him.”
Every one of the Ten Commandments introduces a struggle. Every Commandment exposes a battle in us that everyone must wrestle with and that battle can be summed up as “Me or Jesus?” Read the rest of this entry
The Ten I
Heb.8:10 “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
God gave Moses two stone tablets upon which He had handwritten the Ten Commandments. But in anger, Moses smashes both, right? So, God told Moses to carve two new tablets and bring them up the mountain. Guess what? Read the rest of this entry
Grace & Truth!
Jn.1:17 “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”
Antinomianism is the concept of grace that says you can sin all you like. In fact, it suggests that the more you sin, the more the grace. Are you familiar with this theory? It is called the “Eternal Salvation [E.S.]” movement –once saved, forever saved. Read the rest of this entry
Truth vs. Error
Lu.10:26 Jesus replied, “What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?” 27 The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’” [with emphasis]
God laid the foundations of the heavens. He established earth and spread the heavens like a curtain. God alone knows the number of the stars and He calls them by their names. Yet this same God is mindful of us. Read the rest of this entry
The Spirit
Lu.10:25 “One day an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus by asking him this question: “Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 Jesus replied, “What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?” [with emphasis]
It is interesting that when Jesus was asked about eternal life, Jesus pointed the scholar to The Law of Moses. If the law irrelevant, it cannot deliver eternal life. Sadly, this is where a lot of Christians get things mixed up. Read the rest of this entry
At The Roots
Ps.32:3 [MSG] “When I kept it all inside, my bones turned to powder, my words became daylong groans. 4 the pressure never let up… 5 Then I let it all out… Suddenly the pressure was gone –my guilt dissolved, my sin disappeared. 6 These things add up…”
