H.A.L.T!
“Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out… But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me… you will not bring this community into the land I give them” Num.20:11-12 [NIV]
#3. Decisions! Decisions!! Decisions!!! This is one thing I can hear in my spirit consistently. Your decisions, they say, determine your destiny. It is not the devil; it is your decisions that determine your destiny. The turn you take or you do not take. Your decisions will either hasten or halt your destiny. So watch out for what I call the destiny H.A.L.T signs. Do not make impulsive decisions when you see a halt sign so as not to halt your destiny. What is a halt sign and how do we recognize a halt sign?

#2: Your personal relationship with Jesus is key. This is the second derivative of Victory. Do not move without the Holy Spirit. Has God sent you on that journey? If not, then do not do it. Take Note IV
“Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power… so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel…” John 13:3-5[NIV]
Today we start with the story of a professor in the United States, probably a philosophy professor. One day, at the end of his class with the auditorium still filled with students, he said there is no God. And he put forward a challenge. He said if there is God let Him knock me off this stage in five minutes. Everywhere went quiet, and then he began to look at his watch and mock God. Interestingly a three hundred pound [about 130kg] American football player heard the professor while he was waiting in the corridor for his friend that was in the class. Take Note III
“For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’” Deu.20:4 [emphasis added] .
This year your influence is going to be multiplied, in Jesus Name. And while we keep that at the back of our minds, we should never ever forget our Source. Never ever ever forget your Source. Take Note II
“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne” Rev.3:21[KJV]
Take note, it is God that will give you victory! [Deu.20:4] . Another thing you should take note of is this; in the Book of Revelations Jesus kept saying, “to him that overcometh I will give…” [cf.: Rev. 2:7, 17& 26; 3:21]. It is a recurrent theme in the Book of Revelations. If Jesus says there is a reward for those that overcome, it means that there is something to overcome. Take Note I
“They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them” Ps.44:3
I am really excited to be alive today and I hope you are too because it is only the living that can praise God [at least on earth]. Usually as seasons change and we approach a new season, even before I became a Pastor, as a Christian I would sit with God and try to discern His mind for the coming season. One of the things that Jesus requires from you is for you to believe in Him. When it was time for Jesus to be baptized and John the Baptist saw Him approaching, John stopped what he was doing and said “behold the Lamb of God’. John did not say behold the Lamb of God that came to explain the sins of the world. The foundation of our faith is not in reason. The foundation of our faith is in believing. The Power II
“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you” Rom.8:11
The Resurrection Power gives you and I power to live. And with the power to live comes the power to love. That power that God has given you is the power to love. “And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love” Rom.5:5 [emphasis added]. The Power I
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 [emphasis added]
Christians are so powerful, not in ourselves but in the Spirit that lives in us. “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death” Phil.3:10. Paul wrote the Book of Romans and Paul said that Spirit [the Resurrection Power] lives in you. This same Paul is saying, that I may know him and the power of his resurrection. Guarantee
“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you” Rom.8:11.
“…Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?” Luke 24:5. Not Mary, not Peter, not even John the beloved, nobody gave Jesus a chance. They did not believe that He would be raised from the dead. However, the beauty of this is, God does not need Peter’s permission to raise Jesus from the dead.
