Enjoy It

John 10: 10 “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)” [AMP].

When we pray for God’s blessings I see people struggle with such prayers. And the reason they struggle is because they do not understand that God really wants them to be blessed. I have come to announce to you today that God really wants you to enjoy your life. Let me explain with the example of eating since it is a related craving for physical pleasure. God did not have to give man taste buds if the sole purpose of food was for nourishment. In reality, you can be nourished without tasting the food. There are people that Read the rest of this entry

Blue Print

Matt.6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name” [KJV, emphasis added]

Jesus does not only give us a pattern of prayer, He also instructs us to pray like this.  Jesus says the first thing you do when you approach God, is to worship. Matt.6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Jesus says the second thing is to be Kingdom minded. This means praying for your pastor and your church family. You pray for missionaries, for the Word of God to prosper on earth, and for the churches that are being persecuted on earth. You pray for God’s Kingdom even in your work place; that it Read the rest of this entry

No Alternative

Luke 18:1 “One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up”

I have a message for someone reading this today, the good news that God is driving away from your territory that which has been eating your harvest. I pray that you receive this good news and thank God for it.

When I got saved over two decades ago, I was convinced that there must be an alternative to prayer. And it was because of how difficult I felt prayer was. My thoughts were, “if it is this hard, there has to be an alternative”. So I began to research; a personal quest Read the rest of this entry

The Rock

1Jn.1:8 But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.

I can tell you for a fact that there is no demonic oppression in the covenant of Abraham because I checked it through and through. The covenant does not include curses. In fact it states that anyone that curses you is cursed. There is no sickness in the covenant. Instead it states that “You will serve the Lord, your God, and He will bless your bread and your water and He will not put any of these diseases upon you” [Ex.23:25]. I checked and there is no stagnation. It says, Isaac grew until he became exceedingly great [Gen.26:12-13].

The Four [R’s]

Gen.22: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed…”

There are four “R’s” to recovery. Number one, recognize. Recognize that there is a problem.  We have been asking God to open our eyes to see as we ought to see. God will bring things to your memory. Number two, repent. Number three, renounce. And number four, resist – then you will recover. Even if it was your grandfather that broke a covenant, you need to repent. Derek Prince puts it perfectly, “You are not guilty of your ancestors’ sins but you are affected by them.” So you repent on their behalf because of yourself. Read the rest of this entry

Groundwork I

Ps.11:3 “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” [KJV]

God destined man to succeed. But the fact that someone is destined to get somewhere, does not mean he or she will get there. And the reason is that destiny can be derailed and grounded; to think otherwise is to be naive. This is why you and I need to be serious with our lives and destinies. The fact that God has destined you to be great does not mean it is automatic. But I am saying to you again, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, your destiny will not be derailed or grounded and God will give you the grace [say amen].

Fact File

Ps.139:16You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed”

I am confident that God is going to change your destiny for good, in Jesus Name. It is important for us to understand that our God is a God of automation. When He creates, He sets up systems such that things continue to work and remain productive. Take the earth for example, God has created it in such a way that it sustains itself. He set seasons in place that ensures that there is a consistent circle of life. It was no different when God created man. God equipped man with everything that pertains to man’s fruitfulness and success. Read the rest of this entry

Honor Principle II

Eph.6:2Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment with a promise: 3 If you honor your father and mother, “things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.”

God is big on honor. The Word of God says, “This is the first commandment with a promise. In essence, God is saying because I am particular about honor, if you obey this commandment, I will reward your obedience. I am sure you know that the “parents” God is referring to here is not limited to your biological parents alone. There are people that God has positioned in your life with the mandate to labour over you. It is your responsibility to identify them and honor them. For example, your life group leader or your department Read the rest of this entry

Activate & Benefit

Gen.22:17I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies.”

Jesus became a curse so that we can be engrafted into the blessings of Abraham. However, to have access to something is one thing, to activate that thing is another matter. There are many of Abraham’s children that are spiritually depressed. Even in the nation of Israel, there are a lot of people that are not saved. Jesus is telling us that it is possible to have access to something and not to use it or benefit from it.
